I wish there was a way to submit cases to NCMEC.

I know this is old but I'm surprised Little Chipps Island Doe is not on there.

According to one source, Chipps Island was being used by an amphetamine ring/busted in the 1970s, they were storing product there. At some point, there was a duck hunting club there prior to the ring. An Oakland couple was charged in connection with the ring, I don't know what became of the charges.

Alan Douglas Visher, missing King's Canyon CA 12 yo July 1962 (a Wednesday)
Alan was hiking with his mother, sister, and two brothers in Kings Canyon National Park, part of a larger group of 50 people participating in a week-long backcountry outing led by the Sierra Club. Last seen walking in the middle of the group of hikers at or near Dog Creek in Tehipite Valley. In the evening when the whole group arrived in Simpson Meadow to setup camp, no one had seen Alan since 2pm. This was a 10-day pack trip with the Sierra Club. Looked up some newspaper clippings, Alan from Berkeley, his father a psychiatrist. There was a thorough search done.

Find the Sierra Club aspect interesting in light of one of Zodiac's cards:

And this note in one of his letters:
"I am not sick. I am insane. But that will not stop the game"

Still wondering if Alan might be the Chipps Island John Doe, but this Doe's 1968 and they're estimating the remains in that case were there up to 2 years. If it could be a significantly longer period, I'd still wonder. Plus, I would think the remains may have been moved. Just noticing now as I'm looking on the map here in the thread how close the location where these remains were found is to Vallejo. Berkeley's about 37 mins from Chipps Island. Hmm, and 1962, they think Zodiac may have murdered cab driver Raymond Davis in April 1962.

This Doe's remains found April 1968, Zodiac letters start more than a year later, Aug 1969.
