For nearly a month law enforcement and volunteers have searched hundreds of miles of grasslands, lakes, rivers, culverts and mountainous terrain to no avail. WIlson's body has not been found.

"He continues to be uncooperative," said Lt George Malim, spokesman for the Placer Cnty Sheriff's Dept.
Officials have confirmed that Garcia has been suspected of kidnapping and rape, but those charges were dropped. Garcia's Auburn neighbor, Lynn XXXXXX, has said it was her understanding that the 1979 dispute involved a former girlfriend.
Documents show that Garcia has gone by the names of Mario Flabio Garcia, Mario Johnson & Mario Flavio Garcia-Johnson.
Garcia married Jean in March 1984 and they have two teenage sons. Although not much is known about his previous relationships, one woman claims to be his biological daughter.
Aileen M.xxxx wrote in an email sent to the journal's sister paper, that Garcia is her father. She wrote in part, "I (have) just see(n) him a couple of times, but he was always violent..."

Each time Garcia has appeared in court, he has kept his gaze down, only glancing up to answer questions posed by the court. He appears sullen. Roach said he has seen a different side. "He seemed to be an angry person; Nothing ever seems to be happy."
