The cases of migrant remains really get to me so I wanted to share this one. She had a recognizable face but no picture or sketch.

On January 31, 2023, Border Patrol repatriated a group of Mexican migrants. Once back in Mexico one of the persons contacted Mexican authorities to say they came across the decedent prior to the encounter. Agents later responded and located the decedent. Her death was pronounced due to postmortem changes. San Diego Sheriff was notified shortly afterward.

The decedent is believed to be Yoselin Salas Hernandez, 20, who was from Mexico. I searched her name up in Google and didn’t really find anything besides people with that first name and one of those last names. I will probably check FB later. She was posted about on FB by a missing person + Doe group.

The decedent had black hair and brown eyes. She was 5’3” (160 cm) and weighed 111 pounds (50 kg).

She was wearing two hoodies with distinctive prints. One had a heart on the front and the other a galaxy print. She had on red Nike sneakers.
