Excellent suggestion. How do we prove it?

By getting access to the police files. I really don't see any other way. There are so many questions that I have that could easily be answered by crime scene photos/reports, but they're not accessible at this time.

MCSO is pretty guarded about its cases. Which is understandable, given that Mendocino County resembles an asylum with the inmates in charge.

I recently watched a documentary about Mendocino County, their LE and all the disappearances from that area. I didn't get a good impression. It was like they didn't want to bother to resolve these cases. The dangerous folks who commit murders, etc. are just too dangerous.

I've been researching this case all day for a future livestream, thank you all for your hard work putting all this information together so efficiently. I've been researching the Manson murders in general for a long time, and have many files relating to these cases if anyone ever needs any.
My only two new observations to add that no one has mentioned yet are, Jay Sebring's hands were tied behind his back with what looks like shoelace at Cielo Drive. and if you examine the evidence in that case, it looks like this was done later after his body was moved to stage the crime scene. His hands aren't even bound that close together, had he been alive when it was done, he could have easily freed himself.
Also the fact they haven't released the police reports and crime scene photo's makes me think maybe this WAS something to do with the Manson Family, as there are the famous Tex Watson tapes, that Charles Watson recorded with his attorney before his arrest. They too have never been released by LAPD who currently have them, they say because they contain information about other unsolved cases. Like I say I've been looking at other cases where the Manson family were suspects for a while now, and have extensively researched the crimes they actually committed and were convicted of, and it's weird there's no files for this case. I just finished presenting the Scientology Murders for example, loads of files and enough pictures for that one. The guardedness around the files makes me wonder if the case is still open and there's stuff the public can't know.
The only thing that jumps out at me is the three guys getting out the van saying they'd get away with this just like they did in Oregon, that I read in the "one hell of a hoax" article. Could that be family members maybe?
Another point to remember about the Manson family is, a few of the men were ex military and served in Vietnam, so may have known the choking methods used. It's impossible to prove who was still in the area though. There would have been hundreds men who looked like hippies in the area, many of whom may have served in Vietnam it's not any kind of proof.
