"Woman's body found in Colton," San Bernardino County Sun, 20 June 1987, B3.

An unidentified, barefoot dead woman, clad only in pajamas, was dumped during the predawn hours Friday at the north end of a parking lot between two industrial buildings in south Colton, police said.

Lt. Patrick Crowe said the victim apparently was driven to the location, 575-585 Birch Court, and dumped in the dirt.

Deputy Coroner Monika Johnson said later Friday the victim, who suffered a blow to the head, is caucasian, has short red hair, and is about 50 years old.
