You can feel suspicious, but don't jump to conclusions.
Exactly. We are trying to figure out what happens and help find someone. Suspiciousness is one thing but saying things as facts or if you know the missing woman well seem to hinder that.

Exactly and TBH that’s not the last thing WE have been privy to. It is just her walking in the 7-11 so again we are just going off claims hebeas with her. Why say that they were seen in the footage buying alcohol together and then only show her walking in the door?

Eirhwr way, the person seeing someone missing is always suspect let alone being told he was recently released from prison that’s just a scary combo in general.

Yes, the last person seen with is suspect, but ex cons are not necessarily evil.

Regardless of the how, which we may never know, my gut says she is in that water, downstream. JMO/MOO

Occam's Razor.

Alcohol and Rapid River late at night are not a good mixture.

A man recently released from Jail and lady being helpful could be taken the wrong way by Man. Add alcohol and there is more chance of a problem IMO.

Jealous boyfriend finding girl out drinking with other man? Possible problem.

These are my 3 most likely scenarios of what may have happened. I don't think Crystal decided that she needed a time out and I don't think this will end well. sorry.

The boyfriend seemed to be fine with her befriending homeless people. No evidence that he was jealous. Agree drinking near a raging river is dangerous. There is is no evidence that the homeless man was a threat.

Perhaps she took her boots off because her feet were soaked from stepping in puddles. MOO

I may have missed it but has there been any mention of the time her companion claims to have left her to go and get more alcohol?

Sorry if already discussed. I don’t remember seeing this. But, it’s easy to miss…

Does anyone know what the temperatures were that night? I know it would be cooler near the river. Just wondering if the temps would play into whether or not she removed her boots intentionally. JMO

occams razor is right. Only difference I would say is the homeless man situation is first. Because she has been down to the river many times before, and its a tidal river. Its raises and lowers daily. Never an issue before. Homeless man enters the situation

And why wouldn't she just go with him to get it? That makes no sense. MOO

This was not tidal. There was a rainstorm that raised the river level by 8 ft.

I have not found this yet and have been very curious myself.

This was NOT tidal, but you are missing the fact that she is well aware of the river raising and lowering. Daily. Which means she was more aware of that situation than the homeless man she just met.

Yes, it’s a curious omission. What’s the alcohol licensing situation in Napa? And in 7 Elevens? Do they stop selling it at a particular time or is that a very U.K. thing?

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>

... The tides have minimal effect on the river depth and flow in Napa. Flash flooding takes everybody by surprise. Raging water is powerful.
