STOCKTON, CA - The aunt of missing 23 year old Dalene Carlson said, "I'm on the brink of breaking," while waiting to hear official word of the identity of a body found Saturday in a cornfield in Escalon.

There have been an alarming number of young girls and women come up missing in this region of California in the last 25 years. Some of these cases have to be related. Could there be that many abductors and serial killers in mid Cali?

Well, LE has the body now, and I hope that they will get enough evidence to make a solid arrest. Soon.

I'm so sorry that Dalene was found deceased.

Convicted last month in the kidnapping and murder of 23-year-old Dalene Carlson, Jason Gilley was sentenced to life without parole Monday...

Gilley was convicted October 3. The jury also found Gilley guilty using a gun in Carlson’s murder, and guilty of murder during the commission of a kidnapping.
