SANTA MONICA, CA — The Santa Monica Police Department sought the public's help Friday in finding a man who has been missing for over a month.
According to SMPD, 61-year-old David Van Court hasn't contacted his family since Jan. 9. Van Court is known to frequent the areas around his Santa Monica home, Vons and Walgreens on Lincoln Boulevard and the beach, officials said.
Van Court is described as a 5 foot 10 inches white man with brown hair and hazel eyes. SMPD said he has scars on the back of his neck and back from previous surgeries, no tattoos and multiple missing teeth.
Officials said Van Court has multiple medical conditions including depression and a brain disorder.
