Police described Brooks a white woman about 5 feet 3 inches tall. She has brown hair and green eyes and walks with a walker, friends said.

I fear that they may be looking on the wrong highway for her.

While her phone hasn't been used since her disappearance, they say they tried to track it but were unsuccessful. This makes me wonder if she is out of ping range, which would be consistent with Hwy 1.

I hate seeing these families in limbo not knowing.

I received this link from "Find Marie Hanson's" FB page. Deanna's son Tyler was a huge help to Marie's family when she was missing. Now Tyler needs help!
I iPad isn't letting me copy from the article but Tyler mentions the area he is most concerned with.

For some reason the article goes blurry when I try to blow it up. What area is it? TIA

From the article written by Tyler....

"I'm worried about the area form Pasadena Robles south to Point Conception and also the stretch just south of Santa Cruz which consists of Hwy 1 and the two lane commuter routes that cut over 101 thru Watsonville and Castroville - Highway 129 and Highway 156"

The 101 section will be a little tougher, but a roadside search of 129 and 156 would be easy. There just aren't that many areas on either of those that a car going off would not be noticed. Hopefully Caltrans has been given a BOLO in those areas, as they do road cleanup on a regular basis, though, I would suspect, even without them being told, if they saw tire tracks going off they would take a look on their own.
