BPD searching for missing man considered at risk

The Bakersfield Police Department is looking for a man last seen Monday who’s considered at risk because of a mental health condition.

The Bakersfield Police Department is looking for a man last seen Monday who’s considered at risk because of a mental health condition.

Derrick Richard Austin, 25, was last seen around 1 p.m. in the 6000 block of Chandler Street wearing a black leather jacket, a red polo shirt, ripped blue jeans and black slippers. He is around 5 foot, 7 inches tall with blond hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Austin may call the BPD at 661-327-7111.
