MISSING PERSON

Desiree (Lisa) Huey was last seen at her residence in the 2200 block of San Antonio Avenue on Saturday, October 14th, just after 8:00 am. She last communicated with loved ones around 10:00 am. (1/3)

Mrs. Huey may have went for a walk wearing a navy blue jacket, black pants, and black knee-high leather boots. Her exact clothing description is unknown. (2/3)

APD is asking residents in and around the 2200 block of San Antonio Avenue to check their security cameras between 10:00 am and 11:00 am to help establish a path of travel for Mrs. Huey. If seen in person or on video, please contact Alameda Police at 510-337-8340. (3/3)

She is 5', 85 lbs and walks with a limp.

She told a family member on the phone that she was going to take a stroll. A family member told KTVU in an e-mail that she didn't take her phone, ID or wallet.

Huey is ill and suffers from Parkinson’s and schizophrenia and requires medication. Her family has contacted all local hospitals and police but have still not located her.

I'm in Alameda now for a few days visiting my daughter. There were missing posters everywhere here. The whole community is devastated, Lisa Huey was well loved by all who knew her. So very sad....
