Tuesday, April 25th:
*Sentencing Hearing (@ 9am PT) – CA – Diego Villa Torralba (newborn-12 hours old) (July 19, 2019, Oxnard; strangled after birth) – *Diego Villa Torralba aka David Luna Villa (21/now 24) “father” arrested (7/19/19), charged (7/23/19) & arraigned (9/30/19) & re-arraigned (10/7/21) with murder & assault on a child by means of force resulting in death. Plead not guilty. $5M bond.
Trial was set to begin on 2/7/23 canceled due to guilty plea.

2/27/23 Update: Torralba plead guilty to all charges. Sentencing hearing on 3/30/23. 3/30/23 Update: Sentencing hearing reset on 4/25/23.
*Andrea Torralba Comacho (20/now 24) ”mom” – 1/20/23: Plead guilty to all charges. Sentenced on 4/20/23 to 15 years to life in prison with the possibility of parole.

24-year-old David Luna was sentenced to 25-years-to-life in prison after pleading guilty to First Degree Murder for killing little Diego just hours after the infant was born at Saint John's Medical Center in Oxnard in July of 2019.

Luna's girlfriend and Diego's mother, 24-year-old Andrea Camacho, was sentenced last week to 15-years-to-life in prison after pleading guilty to Second Degree Murder for her role in Diego's death.
