Just come back and found this. I think you misunderstood my original post. The records for the Dixie Schaefer in question are not attached to family records but identify an individual with that name in official records whose identity cannot be tied up with other records such as births. So this is not a case of family records being mixed up or the usual problem with Ancestry family trees.I am friend of family. As happens often on ancestry, someone adds someone and then others continue the mistake. It is completely mixed up with real family members but all is not correct.
