Tom Mesereau on the defendant.

Tom calls them like he sees them.

jmho

He does and he's absolutely right. Tom may be a bit biased, but many attorneys who have commented on the case, see it the same way.

After the testimony in the prelim, it will be interesting to see what line the defense ultimately uses. So far they have had a teflon campaign going on--throwing out everything, but IMO nothing will stick. Here is Matt Semino's opinion:

Judge Pastor delayed the criminal trial of Dr. Conrad Murray on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 from the end of March until May 9, 2011.

LOS ANGELES -- Jury selection in the trial of a cardiologist facing criminal charges in the death of Michael Jackson gets under way later this month, but opening statements have been postponed until May.

Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor announced Wednesday that opening statements will begin May 9 after meeting in closed session with Dr. Conrad Murray, his attorneys and prosecutors.

I find it extremely telling that although the defense has failed to provide the prosecution with notes on witnesses and other potential evidence (thus causing the delay), they have been nonetheless working overtime with their PR machine throwing out outrageous and laughable defenses---none of which will stick IMO when this finally does get to trial.

Lawyers for Jackson Doc Aim to Talk to Witnesses

Attorney J. Michael Flanagan told a judge Wednesday subpoenas had been issued for 35 witnesses, including all the members of Jackson's security team who were at the rented mansion where the singer died in June 2009.

http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/wireStory?id=13098490

I believe that is a huge number of hostile witnesses and can honestly say have never heard of that many.
