"The Fort Bragg Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Duane Lawrence.
Duane was last heard from on January 29, 2019 when he called family from the Fort Bragg area. Lawrence was considered to be transient, and he is suspected to have been camping in the Fort Bragg area prior to his disappearance. Lawrence is described as approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall and approximately 180 pounds. When Lawrence was last contacted he had short brown thinning hair and a full grey beard. Lawrence may or may not be wearing glasses. Please see the photos below for further reference.

Details of Disappearance
Lawrence called his mother from the Dollar Tree in Fort Bragg, California at 6:00 p.m. on January 29, 2019; he said he was buying a flashlight at the store. He used the phone again through the following day; he called a college to enquire about enrollment, and attempted to contact a local friend. His call to his friend, at 10:06 p.m. on January 30, is the last time anyone heard from him.

He was transient and is believed to have been camping in the area at the time of his disappearance. Police weren't notified of Lawrence's disappearance until March 28. Little evidence is available in his disappearance.

I think something happened to him unfortunately, or he got sick or some accident. According to the information, he was keeping some contact even if living transient, so i can ot imagine that he just moved on.
