Someone asked when his ex gf married, year before he married, Aug.

Daily Mail has an extensive article on ex gf and LE says she has agreed to a meeting with them.

The meeting with the ex-gf ought to be good......they should extract good info

When did GSK ever kill a child or strangle anyone? Totally different MO, IMHO

ETA:
Also, as far as I know, all his victims (both EAR & ONS) resided in single story, single family homes. Simi was an apartment.

Correct, different MO

I am wondering if they were interviewing lots of family members, looking at several possible suspects. And perhaps one of his close family gave them an important tip---like 'mY uncle used to go out for long drives in the middle of the NiGht and Auntie would be upset...'

During the Visalia Ransacker months, he burglarized like 110 homes.....it was usually on the weekends. It was 1974-1975, like 13 months or so.......that's like 9 burglaries a month, break it down to like 2 each weekend. He was married in 1973, what the heck did he tell his wife while being a prolific burglar, because he had to do recon work on the homes, figure out when the owners werent there, etc....so took many more hours than just the days he burglarized.

Maybe his wife thought he was out cheating, & never figured him for a criminal.

Neighbors said LE went to wife's home and she did not let them in, but stood out on sidewalk for several hours talking

to them.

In the profile link I posted, the profiler mentioned, if he did have a relationship or marriage in his life, the partner must

have been very compliant. I guess she looked the other way. I'm sure he was not an easy partner to have around,

maybe she was glad he was out of the house.

Forgive me if this has been asked, but was an age progressed sketch of the suspect ever released? Is there even such a thing? I know age progression is done for victims, of course, but what about suspects from a sketch?

I don't know if this was posted:

Elizabeth Silva says she was raped in Visalia in 1973. Says suspect was in uniform at the time and had her in handcuffs.

"Sacramento resident Elizabeth Silva, carried a sign identifying herself as a rape victim in Visalia in 1973. She said it happened when she was 13, and she was so scared she never told anyone."

There was another uncoroborated rape by an "Exeter cop in uniform" on a woman. A good samaritan picked her up

when she was hitchiking. It was not reported.

True, better for him to be out of the house then at home arguing.

Family members might also be able to corroborate the times he visited or stayed near various places in Southern CA.

Do we know what he was doing for a job between 1979 and 1991? If he was in a job with odd hours maybe he was able to fool his wife into thinking he was at work.

Right now, she is glad that she is not buried in the backyard. :notgood:

With an 80 year gap between generations, taking into account that JJD is 70 how long could they have lived? Im lacking in the best way to describe this, so imagine that JJD is 20... his great great grandparent if alive would mean the cousins are about 60. So if he is 40, they are 100 and so on. So unless they submitted it 50 years ago how did it come to exist in that database?

Goodness, there isn't an 80 year gap between generations! Unless you have a baby at 80 years old.

Generations are usually estimated to be 25 years apart. (It may be more now, since women wait later to have children.)

I'll let others respond to your using the grandparents instead of the cousins -- who would be DeAngelo's age -- or most likely within a 50-60 year margin.

I think he could have done a lot of the recon work while he was on duty as a cop. He probably got a lot of useful info that way. Came into contact with future victims and could find their addresses and where they worked etc. JMO

I thought he would have played it safe, & here we learn he may have been raping young women while in uniform.......I knew he was intelligent but very crazy when I read about him walking down the street pantless free balling w/o a care in the world after unsuccessfully attacking a mother & her 2 daughters & neighbors seen him.

Him raping a woman while in uniform in 1973, if true, is before Visalia Ransacker mission. Who knows what the heck this guy has done in his criminal career.

He may have killed innocent people while in Vietnam, maybe some action during college days, & those dry spells we think of in his later years.

I never thought he quit peeping & prowling in neighborhoods because that's like foreplay which would get him very excited & in his later years, that may have been enough w/o actually killing or raping anyone.

I also think he did recon work while a cop, stalked neighborhoods, etc......this was the guys life, his wife was secondary.

I totally agree. His act in court reminded me of when he feigned being an idiot when cornered by Officer McGowen. This man is an evil monster!!!
