Sounds like the judge wants to review everything and then start again at 12:00.

While I truly want to know everything, right now, I don't want to know it if it ends up that witnesses are considered tainted by all the evidence being publicized and he ends up getting off.

I really didn't like that attorney for the media. She was making it sound like the public's right to try him on social media was greater than his right to a fair and speedy trial.

Well he (she) would say that wouldn't he (she)?

Unfortunately 13 victims are dead and won't have any memories. The ones who have survived will never forget what happened.

This is fascinating. Defense lawyer is speaking now about tainted evidence, failed memory of witnesses, strong possibility of unfair trial. DeAngelo is standing in orange jumpsuit in a locked cage of sorts

Judge in East Area Rapist case indicates he will allow release of some warrant details

Judge in East Area Rapist case indicates he will allow release of some warrant details
May 29, 2018

"Sacramento Superior Court Judge Michael Sweet cleared the courtroom at 10 a.m. after listening to arguments, saying he wanted to spend about two hours studying the material to see what, if any, can be released.

At issue is the release of the arrest warrant affidavit written to form the basis of the warrant used to detain DeAngelo, as well as the search warrant affidavits and returns that would show what items and information had been seized from DeAngelo's Citrus Heights home, computer and cellphone.
The arrest warrant affidavit is about 40 pages long, and Sweet said Tuesday that the search warrant affidavit is more than 70 pages. The judge said he was not inclined to withhold all of the materials"

If they did restart at 12:00, none of the local media is covering it. Is anyone seeing it being reported somewhere?

Epic Daily Fail!!!! I am also seeing pics on twitter of crime scene and claim of it being killers bedroom. So the false info is being tweeted. Lordy!!!

Most of the info on "Daily Fail" is inaccurate. There might be grains of truth here and there lol. However, one should be careful of any so called journalism by reporters on any media both spoken and written. JMOO.

While we’re waiting...

Why did it take so long to arrest the Golden State Killer suspect? Interagency rivalries, old technology, errors and bad luck

The only reason it took so long to arrest DeAngelo was L.E. didn't have his DNA to compare it to DNA recovered from one or more of the victims. Sure, coordinating the voluminous reports and information from all the crimes scenes between the different agencies and jurisdictions was a long, drawn-out and difficult task, but even if GSK had left some sort of calling card at each of his crime scenes for L.E., if his DNA is not in any of the local and national databases for comparison, how is that their fault they don't know who to look for? And considering DeAngelo's DNA never existed in any database (pre-arrest, that is), I guess I consider L.E. extremely lucky to have found him at all. I would never even think of criticizing L.E. for the endless, tireless work they did.
