I doubt he completely stopped. It's likely his MO changed and they've yet to link him to other cases.

im willing to bet he started with peeping.

If he was born in '45, he was already 31 years old in '76 when the first known attacks began. Did he really start that late in life?

Aged out? Young man's crime, I think.

There is a scathing review on a CA attorney named Sharon M Huddle on Yelp from 2015. I believe that is the name of the woman supposedly married to the suspect. What I don't know if this attorney IS that same woman.

Chillingly, the reviewer ends her review with the statement that this attorney is "pure evil."

wow...what if off chance his wife did know about his crimes? It's possible. I hope we learn more soon.

Quite possible. Or he got sneakier after he heard about DNA and started hiding the bodies - plenty of missing women in the area.

A lot of people there, wonder if someone can spot him.
Thanks for the link!

Impotence? injury? exhaustion?
I believe his three daughters were all born in the 80's, that may have something to do with it.

Did he stop killing when the kids were born?

Interestingly, his daughters were born 1981, 1986 and 1989.
He was definitely most active pre-children. He married to his now ex-wife Sharon Marie Huddle in 1973.

Sad but I am sure we'll learn about other crimes. The ones documented can't be all of them.

ACD74

It IS sad, but also a small step toward closure if those victims and families can finally see justice as well.

If he’s 72 now, he would have been 40-ish in 1986. IMO, not to old to rape and murder, unless of course he ran into health issues or some sort of physical disability.

I think it's the guy in the light colored pullover with arms folded. Look at the hair, the nose, the shape of the chin. (I brightened the image a bit.)

Take 2.

Did he stop killing when the kids were born?

It seems like he stopped doing the crimes that were easily identified as 'EAR-ON's' right about the time his kids were born.

Maybe he shifted or transitioned into some other deviant crimes that we don't know about yet?

Neighbour Kevin Tapia, 36, said when he was a teenager, DeAngelo falsely accused him of throwing things over their shared fence, prompting a heated exchange between DeAngelo and Tapia's father. He said DeAngelo could often be heard cursing in frustration in his backyard.

"No one thinks they live next door to a serial killer," Tapia said. "But at the same time I'm just like, he was a weird guy. He kept to himself. When you start to think about it you're like, I could see him doing something like that but I would never suspect it."

I wouldn't think so, as he was currently living with his daughter and grand daughter. Would the wife be OK with that if she knew about his crimes? IDK...

He took IDs/driver’s licenses from his victims, I wonder if a family member found his stash of these.

He seemed to have stopped his routine rapes about the time his 3 daughters were born. I sure hope he didn't turn his evil focus towards them....
