NamUs
WS thread- I can’t find one! This Jane Doe is known as Florence Clandestine Grave Doe (1988).

DNADoe Project says it’s believed she was dead less than a year, so likely not. Also, she had a visible hunchback/scoliosis.
Doe Network marked Florence Clandestine Grave Doe (1988) as identified today. Unfortunately all the information provided is: "1131UFAZ discovered on June 28, 1988 in Pinal County, Arizona has been identified per NamUs. No further information is available."

I have the impression that someone was looking to collect an inheritance or something related to money... or maybe just the opposite... did she have more children? Was there any dispute over money or material goods? There is no reason to leave or disappear just like that...
either way
rest in peace

The granddaughter is still alive and I personally think she knows something or did it herself. She is adopted and native American Indian. She has been a problem since she was little. U did not offend us. But not one detective interviewed her. And that bothers me. Somebody knows something and I think she does. Personally.
I have questions. Her granddaughter went to visit did she actually see her on the 21st or did she get there and her grandmother was nowhere to be found? The card was used on the 18th in La Habra at a gas station if that was connected to Edith going missing she wouldn't have been home when the granddaughter went to visit unless the timing was off for the visit. In truth, until there is proof we don't know if she had anything to do with it or not.

I've shared her case here and have her on my map for people missing with vehicles, I hope she's able to get more attention though, it shouldn't be so difficult :( United Search Corps might be one to contact, they're another group based in Oregon who search for people missing with vehicles and raise awareness for missing people in general.

This seems very similar to the Guthrie case in Katonah, NY. Local LE now agrees that Leslie's car may have ended up in the water. Sadly, after so many years and with the weight of these older vehicles, standard sonar may not be able to locate them. AWP has done at least three searches and I remember Doug stating that they may need a magnetometer to locate.
