Bumping this thread up. I wonder if this unsolved murder cold case might be connected to the 1976 disappearance of Lisa Dickinson, 9 years old. She also went missing from Walnut Creek, California and has a thread here on Websleuths.

The amount of time that it took to identify her didn't help at all. I am sure it made the Perp more bold.
