No, not another dark haired MP in So Cal.... :gaah:
Everyone who runs away has a first time. Let's hope that's all this is, and he goes home tomorrow.
That's true but it may be a dangerous concept to repeated. Missing teens are often ignored by LE and he community as likely runaways and this has hurt efforts to locate kids who aren't runaways. Elias is a good student with no family problems. Doesn't at all fit the pattern of a runaway.
I feel if he got swept away by the water, they will find him soon because the waters have pretty much totally receded now and there are various barriers along every water way that would prevent him from being washed all the way into the ocean.
If he is not found in a water way, abduction seems like the most likely scenario. And that's bone chilling. Because at this point it's been a long time.
Seeing his family desperate up there, I know what they're feeling to some degree. A desperate bargaining. Grasping onto the hope that he's hiding somewhere or with friends and afraid to be in trouble. That's the best scenario they can hope for and sadly not likely at this point.
But there's always hope. He hasn't been found which means there is a chance. The news needs to be spread. To me, if he was taken it would be by someone in the area. I think. Because it feels like a predator would not be trolling far from their area in such weather, to find their "prey". So if he was taken it would be more likely to be a crime of opportunity.
So neighbors and family of people in the community need to think if anyone disappeared for awhile during the storm. Was anyone acting weird. Cleaning their car vigorously after the storm. Missing work. Veering from their normal routine. Making odd statements or obsessing over the case. I guess I don't know what the next step would be. Anyone?
