Any idea where this is?

Well the water appears to be runnin so I would have thought Clear Creek but she mentions 'near' Gas Pt. Rd. so it could me a number of smaller water bodies/ponds in the area.

Is he whistling for a dog ?

Interesting to note LE said they would go back to searching if they had a credible tip..

I saw this but idk if it's old news

Deputies combed through the areas of Igo and Ono, near Clear Creek Road and Cloverdale Road, asking residents and workers at businesses in the area if they had surveillance video from the day Ember went missing.

"They just asked if we had cameras," said Alyssa Reed, a waitress at the Ono Store & International Cafe. "They told us if anyone around here had footage to let deputies know."

Deputies confirmed they were looking for extra help in the case by asking for the footage.

His mother, Sheila Graham, said family her son is not well since the baby's disappearance.

"No questions right now. He's just too fragile right now," she said.

Then feed him some chicken soup and send him off to talk to LE!! Give me a break.
If I were his mother I would give him a swift kick in the gluteus maximus, tell him to suck it up buttercup, because this is about precious little baby Ember!!!😈

That's what I was going to say. I know CA has different laws than AL, but gas stations that carry off-road diesel will sometimes have a pump off to the side or back like that. That pump though.... I mean, is it from 1957? I haven't seen a pump like that in years.
Since it's a small town, that very well could be a keyed pump. Meaning, you need a key to use it, and the total output is metered and billed (probably) monthly to a single business. That set up, the big protected tank with a boom on top, and a potentially keyed pump are not unusual setups for small towns.

In my opinion, however, it makes zero difference what the objects are. They have zero to do with this case.

Also, he parked in a perfectly acceptable spot. Easy to get in and out and a likely place to park if the lined spaces in front of the store are full. Or, if it's his usual spot and a habit. It's only a few feet from the door, and again... in my opinion it has zero to do with baby Ember missing.

I just watched the vigil. No tears from MG-stoned face, no tears-what happen to baby ember fb page. You would think they would want the vigil to go viral..

I disagree with your analysis. He looks distraught in that pic, they both do. Also, people get cried out. At some point, you just can't cry anymore... until the wave of grief cycle starts all over.

Everyone is different.

https://goo.gl/maps/RXgq5 Just north of Cloverdale, off of Placer Rd. Finally a decent street view.

ETA the map view to show the proximity to the streets we've been hearing about. Looks like going south on Placer it connects to Clear Creek Rd if you go east; continue on Placer and it looks like it connects to Gas Point Rd.

I think it read it was Pit bulls but another posted said he had a black lab with pictures on SM.
I did read they had LOTS of dogs on the property.
Wondered if they reacted and hurt baby but there would be evidence of that in trailer and around trailer.
MG has pets, but likely so do neighbors. If we look at the street on a map, we can see that animals could easily roam freely throughout all the properties there.

Any dog from any owner could have accessed that yard.

I ask this theoretical question to all, not just the OP of this quote...

If YOUR dog harmed a baby and you found out, would you tell and risk your own freedom, or keep silent and figure what's done is done?

Quoting myself. There is some wind in my area today and I assuming up in Shasta too so maybe the wind was hitting water. Could be one of the later ponds east of Gas Point south of the landfill which seems to have decent foliage around

https://goo.gl/maps/INqMx I'm just speculating. Looks like a gas pump to me.
That is definitely a keyed pump. Looks like they have 2.

Most likely they have absolutely nothing to do with why he parked there, and he probably isn't supposed to park there.

the place he parked could be important if he did not want others to see something in his truck

you can easily see in the screenshot that all the places in front of the store were not full, which is why some of us questioned it

his gas purchase could be important in determining how far he was able to travel

these details could have plenty to do with this case when it goes to court so dismissing them so quickly makes zero sense to me

he was said to have gotten gas so parking at a gas pump is relevant

no it's definitely a stream/river - see PJFL's streetview

Too fragile? How fragile was 6 month old Ember when she depended 100% on mommy and daddy to keep her safe?!?!

Reminds me a lot of Gabriel Gaeta being too distraught to give a DNA sample after he raped and murdered Jenise.

Oh okay. Maybe MW the reporter had Placer Rd confused with Gas Pt. since GAs Pt changes to Placer rd when it crosses Clear Creek Rd

When I think of a sitting there "stone faced" I think of someone who has an unreadable expression. Like, there is no expression and they could be listening to a boring TV show by the look on their face.

MG's face is raw with pain, IMHO. This portrait of them - IMHO - is a picture of two parents absolutely raw with grief over their child.

That's what it looks like to me too. Grieving and exhausted from being in so much pain. Looking at their faces just broke my heart.

Trying to put the pieces together... yesterday:

http://www.krcrtv.com/news/local/search-for-baby-ember-resumes-in-different-area/34090324

And this morning:

Madison Wade ‏@madisonwadeKRCR 2h2 hours ago
Search and Rescue teams continuing their search for missing baby Ember earlier today around Gas Point rd @KRCR7

There's a creek in that zone that crosses Clear Creek Rd. called Dry Creek. It's a little less than halfway between the water tower staging area and Gas Point Rd. So maybe another possibility. The street view shows water in it but I can't tell how deep or wide it is.

https://www.google.com/maps/@40.490...4!1s4I2NOtipF66531cfbwzLrw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

Hope this works - I'm not great with maps.

ETA: On second thought maybe it is dry and just a gully. Bah. I can't tell now.

I was confirming the article that reported he had pumped gas. Someone wondered why he had parked so far from the store.
