Did WHAT? Does she have a clue of what "it" might be?

All I know is that if my baby girl was gone in the morning, I'd need a tranquilizer. I just don't even want to imagine it.

Exactly - did WHAT?? Made the infant disappear? That doesn't make any sense unless she has some idea what happened. I'm not saying she knows or is even involved, but she must have some indication.

I can't imagine it either. I feel so bad for her.

I can't put my finger on it but that statement struck me as odd. The problem with isolated quotes and sound bites in the media is that often times the context gets left behind. It's frustrating.

So does this mean he called the Mom before he called 911? I guess I can see where that might be instinct but I think I'd call 911 first and call her second.

I haven't seen any updates gitana1, but as of yesterday they were searching Clear Creek Road from Cloverdale to Highway 273. I posted this map of the area yesterday: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Cle...bbd9278b47d51!2m2!1d-122.4325004!2d40.4691473 (the "start point" is Noosha Lane, where it says the father lived and Ember disappeared from).

Per FB posts from family, LE is asking the family and friends NOT to search this area, but volunteers are searching other areas and handing out flyers.

If there are other updates I hope someone else will post as I haven't seen anything specifically related to the search.

During that drive he stopped at the Happy Stop Market on Cloverdale Road.

More at the link. MG said Ember was fussy and he was driving her around to get her to calm down. That's from the grandfather - no official word from the sheriff about what MG has said.

How does one smoke medical marijuana without a prescription? SMH. Not fully caught up here, but I wonder if he fell asleep stoned and there was an accident while he was passed out?

He's on probation.....and was prior to this most recent arrest. Wouldn't it be easier for someone who apparently can't stop smoking pot or getting a different prescription for pain which complies with their probation, to just say someone else took her rather than admit to effing up again?

I hope she's found. Too many aren't.

Really? He just admitted to his probation officer he smokes medical marijuana? I'm not buying it. Me thinks the medical marijuana was an excuse after dropping dirty.

The truth is always best. I just hope he fesses up to it sooner rather than later.....

An updated article says that there was footage of his truck around the area they're searching, near the market. They don't believe he went home immediately afterwards.

My assumption would be that, when he went into the store, he did NOT bring the baby in with him. Otherwise, I think that would have been reported.

Also, LE says that MG's ankles are swollen and they believe it's from walking a considerable amount. MG's father says his son's ankles swell often from an old burn incident that needed skin grafting.

I don't have an opinion either way on this last part. But those are what have been pointing them into the Clear Creek/Cloverdale area.

I know medical marijuana has been used successfully in seizure disorders such as epilepsy and is often a liquid, but not sure if a doctor would prescribe it for a baby, but if the seizures are severe enough a doctor might if other medications did not work. Did he use her medication and she had a fatal seizure and wanted to hide he took her "medicine"?

What if he never took Ember for a car ride and she wasn't with him when he went to the store?: If he was out of it from doing drugs maybe he forgot her at home. When he got back, he found her fatally injured and then went back with her to the store area. If he didn't take her in the store to begin with, she might not be noticed in the car either (so no customers would know either way if she was there). If this is not appropriate to write I will delete. Just a thought and all :moo:

I live in the PNW. And know many people who have medical marijuana cards who don't necessarily have any type of medical issues. I've been told that there are many doctors who will supply one with a med marijuana card if they have the $.
With that said, I'm unsure if Dad has any legitimate health issues that would warrant a medical marijuana card... But he may also have it due to long standing pain from his leg burns as a child. Just wanted to point out that he very well could have no need for med marijuana, other than personal enjoyment.

I'm just gonna say that around here, it's the methheads who need pop & candy (usually mike & ike's)
