If they have no more solid leads, and all the ones they did have panned out, then where should they search next?
I don't know if dogs were ever brought in to search the trailer or surrounding area.
The sad fact is that Ember was a very tiny human being. If she was left to the elements anywhere, in even a shallow grave, prey and scavenger animals would have gotten to her remains by now. It's not like it's right before winter snows, where something might be preserved until Spring.
I'm so sorry to type that, Baby Ember. If justice never comes for you, I hope you at least know peace, little one.

The amount #MatthewGraham took from mom's purse when he failed 2 report 2 probation, fled on Sat: Several hundred dollars. - Sheriff Bosenko
I hope they are looking for the backpack too. I wonder if the car jacking victims saw MG with it? He had it in the video when he bought cigs, then the next sighting is at the car jacking victims house.
He told them he was scared, maybe he forgot/left it on their property because he was scared. Idk seems logical to me. I forget things when I'm scared or nervous.

I would say they should search the area he was familiar with near the homeless encampment area. This was mentioned by the lady that reported him at the convenience store where he bought cigarettes from when he was on the run. I read somewhere that he worked there during his community service. It's just my opinion.
They are probably processing the backpack as evidence in the investigation.
Is anyone hoping that he left a suicide note or map to the baby's grave? He did not show that responsibility when he was caring for her, so why would he after her death? He was not a smart guy, at least not smarter than his addictions. What level of lack of intellect would it take to show one's ID to get cigarettes when one is a wanted man? I feel bad bashing him because he's dead but he must have been mentally impaired, before or because of drugs. And then he lived off of taxpayers? A disgusting person living in filth who tossed his baby? I'm sorry for his parents, but from a societal perspective, and perhaps for the welfare of his son, good riddance to MG.

I think his intention was suicide by cop and that is why he showed the ID at the store. I also think he had true feelings of love for Ember and deep remorse about her death. Perhaps if they find the backpack, they will find her. I do not believe he discarded her as a piece of trash.

His mom lives out state, Florida I think.Who carries several hundreds of dollars in cash these days? I understand that when traveling you want to be set, but there are ATMs. What was it, $500? $1000? Did she help her "baby" escape?

Has anyone said why MG/family doesn't feel like LE followed up on all leads? What does anyone have to gain by focusing on a so-called "innocent" man and letting a kidnapper get away? I'm not saying LEs never make mistakes, but it sure would have been a lot easier for them if Ember really was in a hospital in OR. And if they were just out to get MG, it sure seems like he gave them plenty of opportunities without them pinning a fake crime on him. JMO
Sheriff Bosenko discussing the ankle monitor which was removed:
West expressed concern in court that the Sheriff's Office might have persuaded the Probation Department to require Graham to have an ankle monitor.
Sheriff Bosenko quickly said that is by no means the truth. He stated the decision for Graham to wear an ankle monitor came directly from the Probation Department.
On Tuesday, the Public Defender's Office said that ankle monitors are only as good as the people who wear them, meaning if Graham wanted the monitor off then he would have found a way to cut it loose.
Bosenko said if Graham cut off the monitor, they would have know immediately because it notifies the Probation Department.

I imagine this will be answered before I catch up...
But... When googling Court and Tehama Streets, Redding, CA...
I find the courthouse...
Interesting MG chose to steal gun, money, and phone so close to a court house...
Does his mom (or a relative) live in a residence at this corner, too?

He called her "it". How does that translate to a deep love of another human being? It's called dehumanizing someone.
And he showed zero emotion or remorse with LE. So....is your opinion based on other facts/observations or just a gut feel?
