Yes, they're saying it was a woman's scarf. We have no "official" confirmation (LE / MSM) regarding the finding (yet).

I'm going to have to politely bow out of this thread for awhile. I can't handle all the "FB says this" and "FB says that."

My heart goes out to Baby Ember and her loved ones. I would love for you to be found alive, baby girl. If that's not possible, I'd just love for you to be found.

Yep, it becomes so messy when SM gets tossed into the mix. Folks make comments here about things they've read there and half the time I have no idea where the source is or how to find it (since links can't be posted) and suddenly the he said/she said is being discussed as if LE said. It's information overload and most of it just rumor or speculation.

LE found the pacifier that night. They haven't released the exact location so this is just the general area they searched that day as per msm:

The gist of it was that she wants the Find Baby Ember page to be the only facebook page,that only she has the legal right to use Ember's name and that action may be taken against others who use it. The same with any fundraising efforts.

She also mentioned how she has been out searching and how devastated she is which goes without saying.

The main message I got from it though was the "cease and desist" type vibe from anyone using Ember's name. Hopefully someone else remembers more detail. It was very late last night when I looked and I didn't overly study it.

Yeah this. It was basically a cease and desist without any actual bearing in the law. I think she was probably really mad when she wrote it, which is understandable, but she probably should have touched base with a lawyer first. The only part with any legal merit behind it, was that people creating fake go fund me's would be punished for fraud.

Can't blame her after what that awful man (the YouTube guy) did - put up a for something like 20k so he could <cough> assist in the search.
