Not sure if true. I would think the police would report this but several different people from the area are saying it

I had to stop reading that page. All the "I heard this" and "I heard that" on top of the atrocious grammar was too much for me.

I have noticed it's a little different from the police type scanners in that less info comes through on the phone, but yes, you can get a scanner - it's not all that difficult. The programming is the confusing part.

Sheesh I can't keep up with the comments on the SM page. I thought once they switched to a new one it'd be better but it's still incredibly hard to follow.

I hope even half of what they're posting is true because if so it means they're closer to catching him (or already have) and closer to finding Ember.

I can't believe someone spotted a pacifier on the side of the road given how much garbage is usually over there. I wonder how someone spotted it?

Thanks! I'm wishing my husband was home right now. He's got the full scanner and I've compared it with what I get on my phone. His scanner gets a LOT more information, and I'm sure he can program in Shasta county. My phone gets maybe 25% of what the scanner actually gets. If he gets home soon we'll work on it and I'll have to join the scanner convo downstairs.

I hope everyone in that area stays safe, LE included. If he took money I assume he planned on running (as opposed to suicide for example), but he's armed, desperate, and I assume has lost the faith of most of the people who still believed in him. Yikes. I hope he doesn't end up taking ANYONE else out with him, if that's what ends up happening.

It just seems like it was fairly far away from the original search area. That's what made me wonder why they searched there, especially after practically calling off the search. My first thought was maybe it was a road cleanup crew. I'm sure we'll hear more soon - or anyway I hope so!

Looking at a google map it appears that Ono is almost 4 hours from Happy Valley. If he took her there he must have been driving most of the night...right?
