Amazing, really, what risks he was willing to take for cigarettes.

Like with those two guys in New York last month who broke out of prison, the main focus should be GETTING OUT OF THERE. Put all your resources into getting away from there, on foot or with a stolen car or bike.

It sounds like they'll have him very soon.

I wonder if maybe he doesn't get what a huge risk it was because he's immature or not very bright. Like he wanted cigarettes and didn't think ahead, just went to the store.

If he was panicked enough to flee and steal a gun . You would think he would be in Mexico by now or at least be trying to get there. I mean WHAT is he waiting for ? He's in so deep now what would he have to lose by stealing a car ? I mean I'm not trying to give him any ideas but just trying wrap my head around his though process ....

Unless he's looking for someone local...

True... He may not be the brightest bulb in the Box. So either he is really lucky or so arrogant and thinks he's evaded capture so far that he can continue to at hidden idefintley ...

Maybe he is planning a long swim down the Sacramento River during the night. That's my guess.

I feel for the homeless in the encampment. Now, there is going to be a spotlight on their space and it will be tossed looking for evidence.

Maybe he is planning a suicide by cop. Why else go for cigarettes? He seems not in touch.

Apologies if this has already been shared.

I've read that this case is being covered on the local news. We should be able to see live coverage and on the replays on KRCR7's live feed:

KRCR News Channel 7 Live Stream | KRCR Home - KRCR Home

Mobile users:

(That is if their site can handle the traffic JMO)

WHERE IS BABY EMBER SKYE???

They haven't been doing a very good job of covering the story so far, at least on the web livestream. Maybe it's better on local broadcast. We're getting most of our news via tweets and the Record Searchlight site. I don't know which reporter will take up the slack once Joseph goes home tonight though.

I live two hours from Seattle and you can bet your bootie that at least one of the news stations would send a crew up to my little town to cover a manhunt. I just don't get the lack of coverage. :(

Wow, just getting caught up! I tried to read through the rest of last thread and this one, so apologies if I missed it, but was there ever an explanation of why his other charges were dropped?

I mean, he apparently confessed to LE about the wax operation, and they found the precursors, so it seems like they would have enough for a prelim at least, no? I just can't believe he is on the street! Armed. And buying cigarettes and powerade. SMH.

CA is so crime ridden that these types of stories go by the wayside if it's not within an hour of a major city . I live 2 hours south of sac and we barley get any news coverage from either sac or Fresno . I was watching local news last night at 11 and they had maybe a 10 second blip about this case on there . They were covering "local " stories for the most part.

Idk what other hargrs were dropped but from what I read the judge wasn't impressed by MG's PO's argument for making him wear a monitor . Bet she's kicking herself now . Especially if this goes south .

OT....I have your same username on another website. ;)

I don't visit it anymore, but I'd have to change it anyway since we added another pink. [emoji173] [emoji173] [emoji173]

Maybe he has no where else to go? No friends are family seems to be helping him, hide or flee. Why else would you stay around.

The short story is that MG was originally arrested for just the probation violations - using medical marijuana without a current prescription and for not completing his court ordered work program. The sheriff was strongly hinting last week that more charges were coming, probably to do with the honey oil manufacturing. But of course all that's changed now. His current arrest warrant is for a felon in possession of a firearm.

So the court hearing only addressed the probation violations and while the sheriff's mad the judge ordered the gps ankle monitor removed our WS lawyer gitana said it was in keeping with the charges.

I can't believe he's been out there - on foot - wandering around for so long without being caught. It's amazing he hasn't killed himself or someone else by now. Then again I get the feeling he cares an awful lot about himself and his needs.
