I always feel especially sad for JDs who committed suicide.
This man was an adult with no specified age range. 6'1 and 195 pounds. Witnesses saw him jump from the balcony of an apartment complex. Listed as 'recognisable face', no image available.
He had dark hair, brown eyes and a moustache. Multiple scars were present on his hands.
He wore a cream sweater and a brown weightlifter belt.

I wonder if the balcony was attached to an apartment or if it was a free standing one line at the top of a stairwell (if that makes any sense). I feel like if it was attached to an apartment they would have a pretty big hint on his identity.
This may sound strange, but I wish they had posted a postmortem. If he had a recognizable face an image would really help with identification. Would the coroner maybe have one?

I think a lot of these pages might just put recognisable face if there's no decomposition yet, because I'm skeptical how recognisable his face was because it might have been somewhat damaged from the fall. I wonder how high up it was?

I sure wish they provided the address of the apartment complex...

I come up with some pretty far-fetched ideas because I don't have many hobbies. :p There was an "accidental" death of a young woman at the jail in Emeryville in late October of 1982. This young woman was quoted to have a boyfriend whom she lived with in nearby Oakland. Perhaps a despondent lover? Piques my interest about the relative distance between this apartment complex and the jail.

Again, just a completely out-of-nowhere wondering with absolutely zero data to back it up!

Edited to add: I came upon information regarding the young woman when I did a Google search about what Emeryville was like in 1982. I live somewhat close and was curious about why/when it started to become more populated, etc.

I wish they would specify the "small scars on hands". Are they needle track marks (advanced users use their hand veins), self harm marks, cigarette burn marks or some accident or work related scars?
