I feel badly for jurors who will have to sit through this case. I am sure it will be traumatic. They can talk all they want about tainted jury pool...and definitely try them together.

It's tempting to think that the mother should have had a lesser part in Emmanuel's demise (maternal instinct and all that ) but in this case I fear she was an equal participant if not worse.
There's something wrong in that she didn't get away from him in order to protect the littles, and even if she feared him --I'm certain he wasn't home all the time every minute, hour, and day, and she could have grabbed the kids and ran to a store and called LE.

Apparently, JH told LE that he rolled over Emmanuel in bed, killing him by accident, and then buried him. That's what sparked the search. LE now believes that was a LIE.

Then LE apparently inserted a fake inmate into the jail and JH confessed to him that he killed Emmanuel and put him in a trash can at home.

Meanwhile, RH is sticking to the kidnapping story.

If he had accidentally rolled over him in bed, he'd have no reason to keep hiding the body.

This is from the register of actions in Jake Haro 's case for horrific 2018 child abuse charges. A mandatory settlement conference was scheduled for 6/8/2023 and on that date Jake changed his plea to guilty. Judge Dwight Moore presided that day and sentenced Jake directly (bypassing the DA) to 180 days of work release and a few years of probation. This was the sentence for pleading guilty to leaving a 10 week old baby permanently disabled from beating her so badly. The Riverside County DA's Office objected to this sentence and put the objection on the record. The Judge went forward with the light sentence anyway. The DA's Office refused to sign the sentencing document.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who suspected this was ongoing abuse for that sweet little boy. It was in his eyes. Eyes that at his young age had already experienced way more then he ever should have. ETA Looks like Judge Moore is retired now.

Knowing where he is and recovering him are two vastly different things, especially if they have evidence he's in a landfill, like many of us sadly suspect.

May LE never give up searching.

I do understand the vast difference having been apart of a recovery effort to search a landfill for two adults males who escape a correction facility in a trash truck. And the policies was that the trash truck had to compact several times before leaving institutional property.It was horrific!
But I wasn't aware that LE has evidence or are searching a landfill.But I could have missed that.JMO

Judge Dwight Moore, San Bernardino County, retired in 2022. He (unfortunately) had a temporary assignment in Riverside County in 2023.
Strangely, he was apparently known to be a strong law & order judge during his time on the bench in San Bernardino.

Hopefully someone can expand on this, I haven’t listened to the PC yet. Curious where that call for service falls in the timeline? Was this before or after Emmanuel went missing?

I don't think Jake will confess to LE before they find a body but I could be wrong. I do think it is possible Rebecca will confess after yesterday's court hearing.

What happened at the courts hearing yesterday that makes you think it’s possible that she will confess?

Thank you for posting these documents from Steve Fischer Investigates.

So JH waived all his rights in order to get these terms of probation.

Which we can see involved one day to be booked and then credit for 0 days in custody and a sentence of 179 days of work release.

And also a mandatory minimum of one year of attending child abuse classes.

Did he ever even attend these mandatory classes?

We all see how that worked out.

Appreciation to the D.A.’s office for putting its objection to these terms on the record. Hopefully breaking probation terms will pressure JH into telling the truth.

Looks like waste from the Cabazon area goes to either El Sobrante or Lamb Canyon Landfills for disposal. Both are owned/operated by Riverside County not a privately held corporation. That’s good news if a search for Emmanuel ever does occur.

I am a potential juror for this case. I assure you the defense won't want me on that jury! I do worry about a tainted pool of jurors, given the local anger. I want a fair trial so there is no way they ever have freedom again.

This was a call placed to child services by Jake after the disappearance. The night before they were arrested. It wasn’t for their house it was for another property

Well that was sickening to read. And a bunch of BS. IMO you don’t drop a baby on a sink divider and cause those kind of injuries. That isn’t my opinion, that’s science.

That was one that came to light after Emmanuel was murdered and the way the sheriff worded it was odd. Sounded like he was trying to come up with another word or "fix" his sentence. To the effect it "was a call for service generated by Jake."

I did not personally take that to mean Jake called to report abuse, but that he was the reason for the call. In Moreno Valley? That came up at about 39:30 in the press conference from this link.

The irony of this isn’t lost on me. Jake is a professional victim who games the system, it’s worked well for him until now. Somehow he was able to convince that visiting Judge in 2018, that he deserved a second chance. I’ll never in a million years understand that. But evidently he has a good con game that works on Judges and select women.

While it’s obvious he plays the victim well, he’s also sadly good at creating them. Emmanuel will be his last, for that I am thankful. No way he will ever walk free for the rest of his life. He’ll also have a target on his back once he enters prison, I like that thought.
