Mom said she and Erin spoke about her going to Joshua Tree to scope it out.. JVM show

That's important to know, as we now can deduce that it wasn't a 'cover' story by the hubby. Mom's insistence that he isn't involved is also fairly compelling. I think of Kelli Bordeaux in this situation, unfortunately.

So it's true.

Indeed. His story doesn't sound so far fetched now. Slowly but surely we're beginning to hone in on a few details.

I also think of the possibility of post-partum like symptoms setting in and her entering into a dissociative state of sorts. I would be curious to know of any prior mental health issues, particularly with psychotic/manic features.

Edit: I should say this is merely speculation and not in any way labeling or judging.

I wonder how long she was there alone till her husband came back home?
Could someone have helped her out during this time wants her for himself?

She reminds me of Erin from the Waltons!

This is what I really want to know. She was pregnant in January? So, if her husband was deployed immediately last fall when she moved to 29 Palms, he must not have been gone very long.

Interesting choice of words in that quote... IMO...:waitasec:

Yeah, that's really odd. "Last seen under suspicious circumstances". I wish they would elaborate on that.

I can't even guess what that would mean.

That isn't exactly what the quote said. They've been saying since the beginning that she disappeared under suspicious circumstances. I don't think this particular article is implying anything other than that.

However, from the same article I found this statement to be both optimistic and a little puzzling: "Police say there’s no evidence that a crime has been committed, but they haven’t ruled out foul play in her disappearance."

On Locate FB Erin, several people have posted Erin worked at Tractor Supply for awhile in Yucca Valley.

From what I've been able to gather, from various sources, is that Erin and her husband married about a year and half ago. He then went to Japan and she stayed at home with her parents. Last November, they both began living together at 29 Palms base. In January Erin announced her first pregnancy. She has a miscarriage. Current pregnancy is confirmed this past Father's Day.

Thanks. That helps a lot. Since she didn't know the place very well, I am assuming that she didn't have an annual pass. I saw that they cost $30 for the year. I also saw that a 7-day pass is $15. If her mom was coming, she might have purchased one. But I haven't read anything saying that she was spotted by a park worker. I've only read that her vehicle was spotted. However, I haven't read all of this thread.

I'm on vacation but have been reading this thread. If she did pay to get into the park, did it have a time stamp?

Hi all! I haven't been on here in a while but this case caught my attention.

I'm not sure this was talked about or not so sorry if this is repeated. I find it kind of strange that she left at 7am. Maybe it's the way the reporters are reporting it but if say my friend was going to go check out some parks, I "think" I would say around 7ish. Maybe I'm looking into that too much. Not sure. Just seems odd.

Also why did she leave so early on Saturday morning? I'm hardly opening my eyes at that time. Again maybe me. Did she always get things done early in the morning? Is that her personality? I know it's hot as hell out there so maybe that is why she wanted to go early. Not sure. I know she is a photographer and there are "perfect" times to go and shoot. Maybe this was why she left early. I wish they would give more information.
