My comment wasn't directed at this particular manager. I really just used that to note that MSM gets things wrong a LOT. Yet everyone puts so much stock in it. Whereas friends and acquaintances make comments not posted in MSM and no one wants to believe it. But those comments are usually true and truer than MSM.

Hi moonbeams - it appears you have some questions about MSM. Please feel free to pm a mod at anytime if you have questions.

Websleuths does not allow rumors posted on social media because there is no way to verify the original poster or the information that is given. It is the type of stuff members generally take a look at and keep in the back of their minds, without posting it here, while they sleuth and follow the case.

We rely on MSM, because although it's not perfect, we can source the information. We also allow public info, LE reports and other verifiable information.

Hope that helps,

Salem

I agree totally.

I have a question about the Friday evening before Erin went missing June 27th.

Was there a neighborhood get together?

Is so was it a large gathering with many people or local to the apt units nearby?

Did the Lee's attend this get together?

Did Erin and Jon attend?

Thank you for being here and answering questions.

My heart goes out to you and your family.

What was false reporting in MSM about Erin's case?
I have seen MSM articles about JC's rank being incorrect.
I have seen articles where they weren't sure how far along in pregnancy Erin was.
What else was incorrect?
IMOO.

How many different reasons were listed for Erin going to JTNP? Looking for a place to........ Go hiking...... To take pictures........ To go on a picnic........ To go camping.....................

Do you know the reason why Erin was going to Joshua Tree National Park?
What was she going there for, in relation to her family member visiting?
IMOO.

She and her mom spent a lot of time talking and texting about her mom's visit. One thing they talked about was Erin going to scout out a couple of places in JTNP to take pictures. They wanted to know where they were going, so they could go and enjoy the park, take some pictures and get home before it for real hot out.

When you mentioned that they wanted to know where they were going so they could enjoy the park, take pics and get home before it got real hot out.
Do you know what time Erin and her mom Would Have gone to the park when Erin's mom was going to visit? Would it have been as early as 7am or 8am?
I ask this because Erin left at 7am that day, and although I know it gets hot there, I don't know if 7am was a good time because of the weather or because of her
"schedule" for that day. (and I say "schedule" tactfully, as I want to word my post thoughtfully to you.) I live in Colorado where the mornings and evenings can be cooler.
IMOO.

While MSM does get the facts wrong many times in case's I do not believe that is the only issue going on here. While EC told her mom she was going to scout places to take pictures It is LE in their statement of probable cause that say "Erin told Jonathan she was going to JTNP to scout trails she and her mother could later hike". As far as the pregnancy we know the officer that originally went to JTNP to look for her reported on his radio that JC reported his wife was "less than two months pregnant" then sometime later at least a few news outlets that were covering this case reported that LE later determined she was 3 months pregnant which could very well prove to be true.As far as IM and tractor supply job it seams possible she was just mistaken that EC actually took the job.By the time the store opened and IM would have gone there she was not working there.EC could have quit in Feb. because she was pregnant.IM could have asked EC why she was not working their after she went their and EC just said because she had been pregnant never mentioning she worked their briefly.I do not see the reason IM would purposely lie about that.It serves no purpose. It does not make EC look bad or her look good.I have also found some of her other comment have the ring of truth. That EC,NL and CL used to come together but around Feb, they stopped which with what we now know makes sense.I also believe she said NL and CL started coming their on weekends and EC would come their during the week which also makes sense.

They were talking about getting up by 6 in the mornings to go walking before it got hot. Knowing that I would think they would have left for the park around that time too.

BBM: Truthbeknown, our verified insider, has already addressed this issue. Erin did work at Tractor Supply. Though she didn't work at the one there in CA for very long. However, it was Erin who suggested to IM that the Horse Rescue be included at the Grand Opening. So IM surely had to know Erin at least worked there briefly. JMOO

Actually all truthbeknown said was EC recommended that the horse rescue be included. How that was done and what exactly EC said to IM is unknown.Maybe that is why IM knew EC had worked at a tractor supply and was "planning" to work at the one in CA.

I'm sorry that I don't know how to link old posts; so I will just have to quote them. Here is a partial quote from Truthbeknown from September 6th. I've respectfully snipped it for focus.

"I can confirm that Erin […] Worked for TSC for almost 2.5 years. She loved her customers and they loved her. She was shy.”

Exactly how long Erin worked at the specific TSC in California, has been questioned. But she was employed there for a short period.

According to the assistant manager, Darin Sanden, Erin was employed at the one in CA from January to March, and left for personal reasons. That can be found here: http://www.desertsun.com/story/news/nation/2014/07/20/erin-corwin-chronicle-facebook/12905463/

However, according to a post by Truthbeknown on September 12,

"Erin quite [sic] at tractor supply in Feb before the grand opening."

I feel we can safely say that Erin did work for Tractor Supply there in CA for at least a very short while. And I highly suspect IM knew that. MOO.

This was just posted on the Locate Erin FB page (snipped for space):

Erin Renae (Heavilin) Corwin of Twentynine Palms, CA went to be with the Lord on August 16, 2014. Erin, originally from Oak Ridge, was a doting wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. Erin’s friends remember her as being a great confidant who was always willing to go above and beyond to help anyone she knew. Erin’s love for animals, especially horses, will live on in the memories of those closest to her. Erin’s nurturing soul led her to become the mother of dozens of animals in her short life. Her “children” ranged from fish and guinea pigs to cats and dogs. Before her husband Jon’s career in the United States Marine Corps took them to California, Erin worked at Tractor Supply in Oak Ridge and spent most of her free time with her horse or checking out the latest yard sales with her mom and brother. Though Erin enjoyed being in California, she and Jon were looking forward to being able to move back to East Tennessee next year.

There will be a candlelight vigil in Erin’s memory on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 7:30PM at the East Tennessee Riding Club in Oak Ridge: 470 Tuskegee Dr.

Oh my gracious. Until reading that (in its entirely at the link. Thank you Voice4thesilent.) I didn't realize this family has lost another young daughter! (Perhaps this was mentioned elsewhere. If so, I missed it.) My heart hurts even more for them now. I cannot even imagine!

I noticed that, too (I didn't want to post the portion with family names or the donation info.)
