Thanks to those of you keeping this updated! I really have a hard time comprehending why the Mrs. Hasn't been charged? It was quite apparent she at least knew by her saying she would never be found, which IMO was the tip that led to searching mines. So why no charges on her? Makes me sick!

I think she gave info that lead LE to the mines, that is my guess. What ever happened to Horse Ranch Woman? She's been very quiet lately, which I very out of character it seems....

I have been here since the beginning and my heart goes out to Erin and her family. May justice prevail. with that being said i got pregnant when I was 19 and my fiance died in a car wreck when he was 23 and I could not understand the reason. Then one day I heard this--everyone lives the amount of days they are supposed to live--and it brought me peace. Robert lived all the days he was supposed to live--23 years. Erin lived her days. They were not enough days--but its all we have. Tears heal the soul. I cried many tears as Im sure Erins loved ones have. Hugs to all

Checking in and watching for any updates. I plan on following this to the end.
Hang in there, Truthbeknown! Sending love to you and Erin's family.:heartbeat:

If, for some reason, this becomes a "trial by twitter", I volunteer. I'll just need some reliable twit sources to follow, if anyone is aware of some, give me a heads up when we get close to trial........if we don't see a plea bargain (doubtful).

The link I provided probably does not hold, but I wanted to remind everyone that we can keep tabs on the case through the SBCC Website.

Curious why the Judge denies KCDZ's media requests? Is it something to do with recording in the court room? Doesn't seem to have a problem with print media?

Hmmmmmm that is interesting???? All the ones from the TV stations in Palm Springs were approved but he denied the radio station? Maybe he's had issues with them in the past? And they are the ones that leaked information from an anonymous source before Erin was ever found. I forget not exactly what it was... but I remember them saying it was someone in the Sheriff's dept. Maybe that plays a part?

I know I sure don't trust z1077 or that hack that owns/operates that radio station for any REAL news around here!

Thank you for sharing. I am so sorry for your loss, no matter how many years have passed since.

My opinion is that they are seeking a conviction against Christopher Lee first. So the defense can't blame Nicole was the mastermind. They still can blame Nicole but that certainly raises some questions of responsibility if she is charged as well.

She would have been charged by now.

I bet the prosecution is holding charges against Nichole as leverage to get him to plead guilty, or at least guilty to a lesser charge at some point. I'm not saying I agree with this, but 1st degree can be plead down to 2nd or manslaughter, etc....I'm sure they would approach Erin's family before doing this though. JMO

I think she got immunity for ratting on him, and helping LE find the remains

If that is the case, that she got immunity, would that be documented/reported/ known to the public?

  • #999
i don't know that my opinion would be that she ratted him out for immunity... she's still posting loyal wife crap on her pinterest. pretty pathetic considering he was screwing around on her...

Jumping into the middle ... but "140 feet below ground" is either there was an accident and it was quickly reported, or someone tried really hard to hide the murder ... and was just plain unlucky. How often are bodies found 140 feet below ground? ... I'm pretty sure the answer is "not often".
