LE releasing a few details them self would really put an end to all the "rumors" and "gossip" being spread by the media, don't cha think?

Go check out the latest post on the LocateErin FB page! It's in regards to the latest article

Didn't the witness say they spoke to LE when they were out there?

  • #603
The "missing" FB page just stated that the witness/es have not been interviewed by LE.... And thanking others for making them (those who are in charge of the FB page) aware of the information that is in the newest article.

The article says that the Beasleys gave their account to sheriffs when the car was located but the FB page says the witness hasn't been interviewed by or contacted police etc. Are they splitting hairs over semantics?

I think LE is keeping a lot to themselves and not sharing with anyone. Including family.

Timing of that company meeting last night is interesting in retrospect. Wonder if it was known the information would come to light today, and attendees were asked/cautioned not to talk?

Check out the last post in the scanner thread...interesting.

"Beasley said he saw the young wife rendezvous with a man at the location, near the intersection of Valle Vista and Ranch Roads, around 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 28."

I am wondering what happened during 7am until 10am? Did she go to Joshua Tree and came back?
IMOO.

That's what I am wondering too. Maybe that is why they keep searching in JT. Maybe she DID go there herself for a quick trip, so she could cover with her husband. Maybe show him some pics of where she wants to take her Mom, as an alibi. Then she rushes back to meet up with her friend?

That would make it confusing for LE if she was seen there in the am.

I've had a long day and my logical faculties are mediocre at best. Need sleep to replenish. I didn't even think of the fact that she could've been alive while in the Jeep. I should just stop posting and read everyone else instead.

But you made a good point in a post above which was why is the search focused on JT and surrounds if Erin was last witnessed getting in a red sedan with a man around 10:00 a.m. (versus 7:00 a.m.)? Logic would suggest she didn't go to JT with the man in the red car but was still alive around 10:00 a.m. If she went to JT at all, she had already done so earlier in the morning. That is if Jon's account of the day is correct.

So, Erin could have gone to JT and then met up with the red car guy but why is the search being conducted the way it is then? Erin could be anywhere.

I've always found that very odd that her cell was off all day. Here she was, pregnant, and supposedly alone, in a remote area. Why would she turn her cell off at that time? Makes no sense to me.

We don't know when her phone was off, do we? We know he tried to call her but she didn't answer and that by the time LE was involved her phone was dead. He may not have tried calling her until later in the afternoon and it was already dead. Or he may have tried calling her all morning and she just didn't pick up her phone. If I were going somewhere with someone and didn't want my husband to know, knowing smart phones can be tracked easily, I would turn mine off...especially since I wouldn't want to talk to anyone I knew while I was with someone I wasn't supposed to be with.

I wouldn't trust the Locate Erin FB page as far as good information goes. By the sheer volume of information that page has deleted it seems evident that someone in control of that page has strong motivation to selectively keep some truths hidden, and twist others to meet their ends. Whether it's some sort of intense denial or what I don't know, it just makes it hard to trust them.

All I can say is, the family is not being updated by LE with the information they have. This witness - to me - seems credible. And yet the family is unaware of this information.

So, I guess that LE has not shared this info with them.

In this case, LE seems EXCEPTIONALLY tight lipped.

No kidding, that's what I've been wondering ever since they found the car miles from JT. What are they doing??

Exactly! I wonder if that car was rented.

I hope so because there can't be that many rental places in that area. If it was, LE would be able to trace it pretty easily. jmo
