It may differ by phone (and we don't know the phones involved), but this is what I've observed on my iPhone. For texts, it holds them until I stop the "airplane mode," which is annoying because I can't tell when they sent it. I think voicemails are the same - sorry, I don't remember enough to be positive.

No one answered cuz no one knows the answer. But don't texts and voice mails go to a phone even when its turned off? Or are they waiting in a cue somewhere and when the phone is turned back on, they download or upload or ????
Still, I know LE can have the phone company turn a phone on (or the account or something) even if there isn't a physical phone.
Here's the glitch though, "I THINK".

As long as the battery isn't removed and has juice, a phone will still ping. Except the region is know for its poor cellphone reception so not sure how much evidence even a phone in the on position would reveal. Except if they have a physical phone - we don't know if Erin even had her phone with her, do we?

No - we don't know if EC had her phone on her but it hasn't been recovered and they searched her residence and her vehicle. Also, just making assumptions but nowadays, it seems like everyone is attached to their phone even if they are just going for a short distance. Where she was going to be out all day, I would think that she had it with her.

I think EGirl meant CL & NL's phones rather than EC's. (She wrote "the L's cell phones") All the initials start to make me cross-eyed. lol

They've already said that it was deactivated (turned off) in the probable cause document and state in there that it was just after she left with CL which I still don't know if that is their assumption or fact. Would they still get pings from her phone?

In the statement of probable cause, it says Corwin "MAY BE" pregnant with Lee's child. That sounds like, at least according to the friend, paternity could still be up for debate.

I have to agree with what you said. One thing I have been thinking all along is.......perhaps, JC and EC weren't having relations anymore, for whatever reason. This could be the reason she was going out celebrating with CL.

Usually it is counted from the start of your last cycle. So if she was 3 months pg on June 28, "conception" would have occurred sometime in mid April. If 2 months pg, mid May. This is assuming that the numbers are accurate, which we have no way of knowing at this point!

But she's been missing for almost a month. Three months before she went missing was March.

Oh, do they have Erin on camera leaving the base Saturday morning? I haven't seen that evidence. If they do, then no wonder I'm confused.
I keep reading that LE hasn't named suspects (although I realize all the digging they're doing surrounding the Lee's and the ranch) but LE continues to say they're interviewing lots of peeps.

Based on everything I've read, the affair with CL began after her miscarriage due to not getting what she felt was proper sympathy/support from JC. I've read nothing of an affair prior to that. So I assume we know the miscarried baby was JC's.

At this link you can mess around putting different dates and locations in to look at weather history.
The link has 29 Palms Airport (I hope) for the date of July 5 and shows thunderstorms many times throughout the 24 period on the date. Yet, the amount of rain isn't recorded.
Where I live, rainfall is recorded by noting inches. But even here rain can flood one area while five miles away, no damage.

No, they said Erin's phone was off. I asked about the Lee's phones.

Sorry I missed that. I know that they took CL's phone. Nothing about NL's phone but an iPod touch was taken from a purse in the green Honda at the ranch.

I really would love to know the relationship between IM and EC. It seems as though IM is close to the Lee's but we don't really know what her relationship was with EC. Another thing that keeps popping up in my mind is that early on they said JC didn't report her missing until the next morning because she possibly spent the night at the ranch. I wonder if that was a common thing. Did CL and EC stay at the ranch often or maybe that was their alibi for spending time with each other.

I don't doubt EC and CL had an affair..I am just questioning when did they find the " privacy " to have an affair. Being next door neighbors where everyone knows each others business. CL & EC volunteered at the ranch but so did NL. NL and IM appear to be friends. Being neighbors..how could they of stayed overnight at the ranch without NL or JC getting suspicious ?
