That interview caused me to have quite a few questions. For starters:
1) She said EC relinquished her horse because the base wouldn't allow her to keep it there since it needed some shots. Why wouldn't she just give the shots to the horse so she could get permission? She relinquished the horse in June.
2) I thought there were people at Tractor Supply that said EC had worked there. Did I dream that up?
3) What happened to CL's & NL's vehicles? They left in a Uhaul. Could LE still have them?
4) Why did the phone call end so abruptly?
5) When questioned about CL's alibi for the 29th, she said NL said she was at home with their child. Then, she said CL was working. ???? Why wouldn't that be an alibi?

Couldn't hear very well but it sounded like IM said that EC found out about the ranch through CL and NL, and carpooled with them to the ranch.

it could be that EC came up with that excuse and surrendered the horse in June in anticipation of leaving with CL in July.

Well golly, isn't that something! Here's ol' IM, totally not involved, totally not privy to any specific conversation between CL and NL about alibis for that Saturday, providing CL with an alibi! Totally randomly! What a coincidence!

I'm sorry that I don't have much to contribute besides snark at this point. IMO, this case is becoming a joke. Arrests needed to happen nearly a month ago.

I don't know, but if I'm ever accused of a crime, I hope I have a friend out there shakin it that hard for the media and suddenly remembering things weeks after being interviewed by LE that help my case! It's a real pity no one seems to be terribly concerned about Erin, though...

Chris and Nichole took their horses to Alaska, had them transported there.
"We" (people at the ranch?) had no idea Chris and Erin were having an affair.
Chris, Nicole and their daughter always came to the ranch as a "family".
Police confiscated the Uhaul and searched it, they gave Chris and Nichole a list of what they kept.
Chris and Nichole are not speaking to Megli anymore.
Nichole owns and jeep and Chris owns a jeep, Megli says Nichole's jeep is dark, she never paid attention to the color. Then says, neither one of the jeeps are red : /
Erin told Megli in June she was relinquishing her horse, she could not get it on the base because of necessary shots.
{That was zinger for me! Was Erin planning to leave the area after June?!!}
Erin got a job in April as a Nanny for a family on base.
Erin never actually worked at the Tractor Supply in Yucca Valley.
Erin took the miscarriage in February very hard, very hard.
Scott Peterson case, was the case they discussed {Whoahhhhh}
Chris was supposed to go out with two people (Corey & Skylar) that morning, but went alone.
Chris and Nichole told Megli LE searched the house next door, and also their house, looking for Erin. {In other words, made it sound like they were not specifically searching the Lee's home-huh?}

So she gives CL an alibi AND explains away any of Erin's DNA that might be found in CL's vehicle? That's convenient.

I know there are many here that feel that way. Here is my question though.

Why would EC text her best friend and tell her that she was pregnant with CL's child and was going to spend the day with him, the day she went missing? That is what i cannot overlook.

Was she lying? Did someone else write those texts?

What kind of shots would her horse need to be allowed on base? Couldn't she just get a vet to give the shots? Why was this a deal breaker? Wondering if that was just an excuse she made, because she knew she wouldn't be at 29 Palms when CL was going to ETS soon? Just a thought.

I totally believe CL is the right suspect. He had far more to lose than Erin's husband or anyone else, except maybe NL. But I think CL actually killed Erin. He could face his wife, or if she already knew about his possible fathering of a baby, could not face a divorce and/or years of child support. I think maybe Erin's texts to her friend in TN will show that Erin had told him about the pregnancy, in case he tries to deny knowing and the texts may tell much more, i.e about whatever promises he may have made to her. The pregnancy is the motive. That set whatever plan into action but I just don't think he is very smart and that mistakes will catch up with him. But I don't think Erin will be found. jmo
