The family must have driven one jeep to Alaska pulling the uhaul trailer and the other jeep behind. LE has to keep searching desert for her. I hope she is found soon!

It would not let me post. You explain where there two jeeps are.In the below linked article it states (BBM), "When they left here they were in a U-Haul. I'm not sure what they did after they left here. I just know that their ultimate goal was to go home,” she said.
Sounds like they were driving a U-Haul truck, not pulling a U-Haul trailer. They would not have shipped two jeeps back also I read LE searched the UHAUL trailer.

Did I miss the part where IM gave CL an alibi? I thought she said he went out alone.
No, I should have said she was trying to make excuses for him for being alone on that day. She also awkwardly threw in the statement of Nichole being at home that day, too.
This interview is unreal. She states that she doesn't really know anything but then she continues to answer in complete detail so many of the questions she is asked. She knew dates and months off of the top of her head, names of CL's friends, had (what sounded like) regular email communication with Erin. It sounds like she was very involved in these people's lives yet she clearly is emotionally detached from Erin's disappearance laughing, etc. during the interview. Odd. Too bad she hung up before she tried to explain away how the police could have possibly put a spin on her statement to them that NL called her husband stupid. MOO.

That is what struck me as odd too. If I was close friends with a 19 yr old pregnant girl, and she was missing, and quite possibly DEAD---I think I would be more respectful, or sensitive, when discussing her disappearance. I think I would show some level of concern--if I was concerned, that is.
As soon as I read your comment I had an AH HA! moment. Depending upon where the L's final destination is in Alaska unless it is on the coast where they can drive via Canada then they have no other option but to use the Bellingham Washington Ferry to get to their destination.Bellingham is the only port in Washington State serving the ferries to and from Alaska. (At least that I am aware of) Which is a 2 to 3 day journey over some rough open isolated waters depending upon where they are headed. Arrangements and Reservations must be made weeks in advance to take the ferry with an automobile/truck/motorcycle. So if I wanted to dispose of items (cell phone, possible weapon and so forth) that I never wanted to surface ever again what a better place to do it than over the open waters. (pure speculation here)
If LE is focused 100% on CL as a suspect in EC's disappearance and murder would they follow CL back home?
it could be that EC came up with that excuse and surrendered the horse in June in anticipation of leaving with CL in July.
You know, after joining a certain facebook group, I actually appreciate some of the rules here. Seen a couple irresponsible posts there, one in particular along the lines of, "supposedly my mom heard ___". Certainly glad that sort of made up nonsense isnt allowed here. It can be strict here but clearly, there are very good reasons for it.
From the below linked article:
The list of search warrants that are now sealed or partially sealed at the Joshua Tree courthouse include recent 2014 warrants numbered 114, 115, 116, 117, 118, 119, 120, 122, 123 and 124.
We know that 114, 115, 116, 117 & 119 are the search warrants for the two apartments, two cars and the Horse Rescue property. What do you all think the other five are for? Would phone records require a search warrant? It says that the remaining warrants are either "sealed or partially sealed". Wonder if any of the remaining five search warrants were only partially sealed? I suppose we will find out in the next few days if any more information comes out about those additional warrants (doubtful though as I assume the information would have been included in this article if there was anything accessible in those additional warrants.)

ETA - I hope they didn't only serve a search warrant on his jeep if his wife owns a jeep, too.
What kind of shots would her horse need to be allowed on base? Couldn't she just get a vet to give the shots? Why was this a deal breaker? Wondering if that was just an excuse she made, because she knew she wouldn't be at 29 Palms when CL was going to ETS soon? Just a thought.
I'd like to know when exactly in June did she tell IM that she was not taking the horse? Before or after the 15th which is when she supposedly learned she was pregnant.
As far as shots go, one would think that since IM has so many dealings with Marines at 29, that she would know the requirements of keeping a horse on base there. Also, even if she didn't, I would have thought as a rescue they would make sure that all their rescued horses had vet care and therefore be up to date on all their shots. That doesn't make sense.
And is that even a thing you can do - is there a place on base to board a horse?
