Um.......just an observation here:
Scott Peterson was convicted in 2004, and we have some 20 something year olds talking about THAT case? My son is 27 and he wouldn't have a clue, he was a teenager and didn't have the least interest in that stuff back then.
Maybe the horse rescue gal, IM, would have some knowledge of it, but the rest of the "players".........they would have been pre-teens, 10, 11, 13, and 14 at the time of Peterson's conviction, NOT the actual disappearance, which would have made them 2 years younger.
I'm not going to give this "story" from IM any credence, sounds like she's just making it up as she goes.

But Lacy was found, so it is not really "no body, no crime" anyway.

There went a long LONG time before lacy was found.... so it was a no body no crime for a long time. Everybody still knew Scott did it tho.

I might believe someone else sent the texts if those were the ONLY texts about CL. But it doesn't sound like that is the case. Plus, there is also the issue of CL lying more than once about his relationship with Erin. Too much smoke, IMO. There must be a fire there somewhere.

Of course, a TV show would consider it a great twist for her husband to take advantage of all that to kill her himself and throw the blame on CL. Actually, talking about TV shows, I should ask my husband who he thinks killed Erin. When we watch TV he always guesses the killer very early and he is NEVER WRONG. Then he rubs it in quite obnoxiously, LOL.

I said the same thing several pages back who knows with any certainty who sent those text messages. It would be really interesting to find out was that the first set of text messages her friend back home received revealing her relationship and pregnancy? OR have they been conversing back and forth for a while about the situation? I sure would like to know the answer to that one as well.

OT but is it just me, or can anyone else not read that without hearing it in Rachel Green's voice?

Please do not open that can of worms.... Can open,... worms everywhere

Wasn't it four months? Dec-April? Not that long really.

I think there is probably a series of texts dating back to earlier days. Not sure a single text on the day of her disappearance would be given so much weight. LE knows about texting and how others can do it, too. They probably contacted this woman right away and got the full story, imo.

Where does one get a blue latex glove? I have no idea where you would find one of those. It's certainly not rubber, it says latex. Why go through all the trouble of finding blue latex. Why one glove only? Isn't that really strange?

Maybe she wasn't all that into horses and just went there with CL. So when the affair supposedly ended a month prior to her disappearance she gave up the horse.
IM keeps mixing thing up. One minute Erin goes to the ranch during the week and CL and NL go at weekends, next minute they are carpooling. I'm finding it difficult to believe her.

I didn't think much about it since they work with horses. We use latex gloves when cleaning wounds on our horses and applying topical meds....among other things.

I know some hospitals, EMT and Fire Departments use blue latex gloves. I imagine you can probably buy them somewhere. Maybe he had a box and only had one left? That wouldn't be weird if he used them for a specific task (my husband uses latex gloves when he empties the tanks in our motorhome.)

At the beginning of the interview (about one minute and 14 second in) IM states that Erin would come during the week and on the weekend and work with her horse. At about 3 minutes in she contradicts herself stating Erin would ride her horse on the weekend and CL & NL would ride their horses during the week. She is all over the place.

I think EC "abandoned" her horse because it has been 30 days since she has been in to take care of the horse. Why would she be so gung-ho to find a new owner for the horse if she is hopeful that EC will be back to get her horse?

Available in the Navy and in fact, available on a widely popular and international online shopping site that begins with an A (not sure if I am allowed to mention the name). They come in a box of multiples, you grab one at a time or as needed.

You know what the real problem is: that purse. The purse inside of the green Honda Civic. Who's purse is it. I have never known a woman to leave her purse behind ever, nevermind in somebody else's car. The car belonged to IM right, but she's outside talking to the deets, and she could've said "that's my purse" but she didn't, and besides she lent her car to the Lees for the day anyways (we know this because the girl said the PG was in the car as they were going out to shoot it later) Nichole is in the Uhaul that just pulled up, with the girl. The only woman who might leave a purse behind is a girl, but no 13-year-old is going to go without her ipod touch(which was found inside the purse), right? We need to find out who fits that purse..... like Cinderella.

I feel pretty sure this friend is where LE learned about the baby possibly being CL's. Seems odd Erin would have just happened to bring it up the very day she went missing.

You can buy them at any pharmacy, walmart, costco. I bought a box to use for cleaning up after sick kids.

We buy the blue ones for our business at auto part stores or wally world. They are much better than the yellow or clear ones :)

I have a whole box of them in my cupboard if you need some. I think this box came from a big warehouse store that starts with a "C".
