Two answers: Jealousy and Possession. The two oldest reasons in the world. We've seen many a case where the man in the said case, actually feels that the woman; in an affair ....shouldn't be sleeping with their intended other. This is also as old as time. Seen it a million times in a case. It's jealousy and Possesiveness, as in I own you; married or not. Sometimes in an affair men also justify...that they go home to their wives and of course sleep with them but feel the woman in no way should have that right. This is truth...seen in many times. Ownership. Esp with a possible child involved. Because Erin had made future plans with her mother, and other plans I don't really feel she is a suicide. I just dont get that vibe in this case at all. It seems to me it's pretty straight fwd. Last person with her; would be my main POI, and there may be two in this case. And that will not shock or surprise me. Think about the case in Arlington, the threesome case years ago...all three were cadets all three lived by a code all three broke said code and two murdered the third party to get rid of her. It was a sad case, as sad as Erins. I kept hoping she would turn up in TN, maybe was on her way home, but there is no evidence that she took out money or packed a bag to leave for a trip of any kind, let alone even a short trip to JTNP. I think that knowing both CL's and his wifes alibi for certain that morning is KEY. Did she work? Where was SHE that morning and did they have two cars, did they recently sell one a red one, due to impending move? most due when they are leaving a tour of duty and moving home. Most families have two cars did CL have two vehicles? Did they recently sell one? That is one fact; that needs to be ruled OUT. And if so, if they had a second or even third car, it could be parked somewhere with Erin's body or remains in it. That's another possibility that I think on. I hope they have checked ALL dmv records for his family vehicles.
