If you don't mind me asking, what holes have you found in the CL theory? I have not come up with any holes there...

You weren't asking me, but if I could weigh in, the only holes in the CL theory for me are hearsay re possibility of hubby did it (ALL HEARSAY/Gossip, but not from FB -- from military websites & comments there) that supposedly:

--EC/JC/CL/NL were all at a party the night before EC went missing, and tho they avoided eachother, CL still asked around who wanted to go hunting the next day (in front of EC/JC), and EC left early as she wasn't feeling well (both EC/CL were planning to 'get up early' the next day
--JC was off duty the day she went missing (was going to fill in for someone buy cancelled the day before)
--JC was the last to "see" her
--JC didn't report her missing for over 24 hours
--JC got inebriated and trashed his apartment some time after she left (and half his unit was called in to help clean up, but it was hushed up), showing possibility of his being physically violent when upset
--IF the red car sighting was legit, the description of the man in the red car sounds more like JC than CL (short, light-colored hair, short stature). Maybe he followed her that morning to see what she was up to and intercepted her before her meeting CL? NL helped move the car after the fact...

Dunno, just speculating there could be some circumstances under which JC could be involved, but since there is so little info from LE, it's hard to say. Just MOO!

Thinking back to a post on the previous thread regarding the confusing moving of EC's car.....
To me, this strongly suggests the involvement of more than one Perp.
One took her to "the destination", and one took her car to remove any trace of....? and then let it in a different position.
I wouldn't be surprised if the car shows signs of being "disinfected".
This is what makes logical sense to me.

BBM I was just going to post this earlier today but had spotty cell service. The original description IMO doesn't sound like CL at all but does seem to match JC spot on. I don't know how tall JC is but in relation to EC (who is 5'2" tall) he doesn't appear to be any taller than 5'8" - 5'9". According to LE's official public statement, CL is no more a suspect than JC is. We don't know what information was contained in the other sealed subpoenas. MOO.

Above BBM: If JC committed the crime why would NL help him move the car after the fact? That part of your post confuses me. TIA

If she committed suicide then her body would be found in close proximity to here her car was found. LE searched the area. Where do you think she is?

If you are talking about that gray, flat area... it appears to be old mine dig dirt. And not sure Google maps is actually pointing to the right mine. You can see more grey mine dig dirt further up the road, along with some houses. Those appear to be the Death Valley Mine location.

What address or how are you pulling up it up on Google Earth? I have that but it confuses me!

LOL ~ I feel like we are talking about Bachelor or Bachelorette and the show/spoilers are trying to "make" us think the contestant was in love with the "other" person who wasn't the winner. Just had to toss a laughable out loud to my thoughts as I was reading this!

I do recall seeing/hearing about the party but from AM it was stated that neither CL nor NL were at that party. I would also add though that it really seems odd to me that JC did not at least call Erin's mom (as it says they were really close) and say hey I haven't been able to get in touch with Erin. Have you talked to her by chance or know where she was planning on going, etc. That I think would have been my FIRST step and from what we have seen he did not notify Erin's mother until the next day after reporting to LE. His actions definitely ring in some suspicion but so do CL/NL unless perhaps all 3 of them came together on this. Not really sure, I go back and forth. If JC were involved, also might be why Erin's family left and went home so quickly as well. Perhaps they saw for themselves things were not adding up after all.

I recall the car being found on Valle Vista Rd but not sure of the other, however, if you look up Valle Vista and get directions from there to the Death Valley Mine area, it's almost a straight shot! You take Amboy and follow Amboy half the drive and also pass the Sheephole place too they said they were looking at one time. Okay, I have to go back to find the link someone posted for the tip line. I was on my phone earlier and now on computer so I can do these things easier. I am opposite the world, I sleep all day and up all night. I definitely think crews need to go down and search this area though for certain. Its a large place too a little bigger than JTNP but like someone else said she would not tell the accurate place where her and her lover were going to hang out. JTNP was a deploy in my opinion to make LE waste time and money searching there. The 2-hr thing is a big clue and this fits to a T. I wanted to also say I discount the fact of the car being moved because we were told those two witnesses were found not to be credible and were publicity seeking. If that is in fact, true I discredit any info they shared including the red car and the 10-10:30 timeframe and also the descriptions of the people getting in/out of the car. For all we know, maybe they are friends with one or more of the suspects and wanted to also detour our attention away from the true suspects, i.e. like friends with JC but wanted the public to think it was CL/NL and focus on them instead of JC so he made up his "descriptions" to fit them, etc. I just can't believe anything he nor his sister said since news media said he was not credible.

I thought the only media report of someone's story 'not being credible' was actually the mention of CL's story of his timeline being 'inconsistent'. I can't find the link now, but I definitely saw it somewhere.

I have just read back through quite a few reports, and I haven't seen any that say anything about JC 'not being credible'. I can't recollect seeing that at all.

I remember thinking it was incredible, when Erin first disappeared, that her husband hadn't appeared to report her missing or even search for her at first, but then it was reported that he had.

ETA: Oh, ignore this post. I misunderstood what I was replying to. It was the credibility of the witnesses who thought they saw Erin getting into a car, not JC, that was in question. I've got myself totally confused.

What if she fell into a mine? I am not 100 percent convinced that she was murdered. Erin is a very young woman, maybe pregnant by another man other than her husband, having an affair with a married man --- to me that would be a terrible situation.

I keep hoping and praying that she is alive.

I have not read all the posts - this is my opinion based on what I have read. She could have walked away from her car- maybe even hitch -hiked. IDK.

Open Google Earth. Wait for it to load. Under the "View" menu make sure "Sidebar" is checked. Type in Death Valley Mine in the search window and click search.

We have both parties putting themselves in the same place she "went Missing". I doubt she "slipped into a mine" and I doubt she suicided. I think she was killed, and there may be more than one suspect. Esp since the father of the so called pregnancy, may be married. There is so much here for prosecutors to charge. Now we wait. IMO they feel that he isn't going anywhere they can't find him or his wife...they have all the time in the world to try this case; with or without a body. I think that farm should be scanned w sonar, myself. Since that is the last place they were and CL and his wife knew the property probably even better than Erin did. my theory at this point, my opinion.
