In order to get much use out of the scanner forum you need your main computer,a tablet, and a subscription to the scanner feed. Someone will come on and post directions I dont have them.

It appears from some of the articles that have been posted Erins husband is not working on the base he is on leave. Also implied is he is living off base but near enough to keep track of the hunt for his wife. The marines will not permit him to search for her or to talk about it to the media.

she went to an ER for a headache?

Not a headache...... A MIGRAINE headache. There is a world of difference. Like having a tummy ache versus having your stomach cut open. I have been there.

I'm not sure what the status of the investigation is. The entrance to the park is under heavy surveillance. The last I read LE wouldn't comment if Erin and Lee were seen on surveillance entering. Has this changed?
There are so many possibilities. Maybe she and Lee decided to call off their romance and she needed to get away to clear her head and he helped her? I hope this is the case.
But if the comments made by Nicole Lee to the owner of the horse ranch are true, then something bad has happened.

Can someone please explain why I would need all of that? I just followed the link given in the scanner feed, clicked play, and it opened another window and started playing. What am I not getting about the tablet and subscription? Is there something I'm missing out on???!!! lol

TIA

No idea - you just need the link to the scanner thread on WS and on the first page I believe is a link to the specific scanner for Morongo Basin. You pretty much should be able to play it on any device that has audio capabilities.

You need a subscription in order to listen to archived feeds but not the most current feeds.

That makes sense about the subscription for archived feeds. (And maybe goldenbear meant "computer OR tablet" instead of both.) I just panicked a bit because I thought I missed out on something...and you know how we want to know EVERYTHING around here! lol

Thanks for the help!! :)

This is the third try. You need to listen to the live feed(1 devise) ,you need to text info on a tablet(2 devise) edit it and post it on your computer on the forum (3 devise) I have followed individuals doing this 24/7 Its hard to do on one.

I think speculating about anyone is okay, as there has been a lot of that going on regarding CL and NL, etc. and I haven't seen any feedback from the moderators on that speculating not being okay. What I have seen the moderators say is that sleuthing anyone who hasn't been named a person of interest (POI) isn't okay. LE hasn't named any POIs, so everything said here on CL, NL, JC, IM, etc. is speculation, and reading comments about the case and people involved on websites isn't sleuthing, is it?

Someone please straighten me out if I'm wrong about this. TIA

CL is a suspect because LE has represented this a fact to a court of law as evidenced by the search warrant and accompanying affidavit in which the "affiant", officer Emon, declared sufficient suspicions for probable cause of "a felony having been committed; to wit; PC 187-Murder and PC 18710-Possession Of A Destructive Device" for the warrant to be sworn out. This action belies any statement they may make no matter how official they claim it is. CL is a suspect, and since NL's demonstrably unique knowledge of the crimes was also used in obtaining the warrant, she has become a defacto Person Of Interest as well.

I just listen on the same device - type what is being said into notepad and then post it to the forum.

Keep in mind we have NOTHING to confirm this. Personally I haven't even read or heard it as a rumor.

Her sister-in-law stated it - I think it was in a comment to one of the first articles. I'll try to see if I can find it again. It still is not a news source.

I had read that he was on leave but I don't know if he still is. I have not read anywhere that he's living off base. Do you have a link for that? TIA

I'm sorry I may have missed it. Do you remember who she said it to? I remember reading that she had a doctor appointment in the coming days to confirm the pregnancy.

Permissive Temporary Additional Duty. It allows him time off without depleting his regular, earned time off. He does not have to train and do normal duties. He keeps living on base but not confined to base.

http://www.desertsun.com/story/news/crime_courts/2014/07/11/erin-corwin-jonathan-corwin/12557135/

"Cpl. Corwin is not restricted to the base and has been placed on 'Permissive Temporary Additional Duty,' base spokesman Capt. Justin Smith said. "PTAD orders are issued to military personnel for official time off. The time away from duty is not charged against the military personnel's leave balance."

Corwin entered the Marine Corps on June 13, 2011. He has had overseas duty but has not served in combat, according to the Marine Corps
.

EDIT: looks like he can only get 30 days max
