While I don't find CL attractive personally, I can see how Erin did. Erin loved horses. We know this. It appears that the Lee's did as well from everything we have seen about them on the WRHR blog and FB page. I think Erin found in CL what she probably hadn't found in JC, a common interest and love for horses. And while his mugshots and younger photos aren't much to look at, I think the pictures of him in his "cowboy" gear (western shirt, jeans, boots, hat) give off a totally different vibe. And certainly a different vibe than JC. Perhaps he is a smooth talker when it comes to horses and that lifestyle...knows the ropes, KWIM.

Every time I look at his picture, I keep asking "why?!?" He's not much to look at IMO (putting it as nicely as I can). He doesn't seem to be smart enough to be a smooth talker. I cannot understand the appeal. I just don't get it. And JC appears to be so cute and caring. Guess it's hard to understand from the outside looking in...

I wonder what Erin was doing from the hours of 7am until when the witness saw someone get out of Erin's vehicle into the red vehicle?
Was that Erin? If Erin never made it to the park, then what was she doing and where was she during those hours?
The tire tracks were said to match CL's, as well.
Could something have happened to Erin before 10am? And maybe the witness saw someone other than Erin get into a red car?
It was also said that Erin's car was also moved previously....

I think a few days ago, someone sorted out a sort of timeline from 7am ish to 1030am ish, using the location of the mine and the location of where ECs car was found. It may have been downstairs - I can't remember now now! :gaah:

My thoughts exactly. From the pics we've seen on the horse rescue sites, SM and MSM, I get an arrogance from him. Maybe with that arrogance, he was able to talk her into anything and tell her everything she wanted to hear to get what he wanted.

I don't understand how you are STILL criticizing LE for the way they handled this investigation Of course they are NOT going to say CL was a person of interest. With him being in Alaska, they certainly didn't want to take the chance of scaring CL into possibly fleeing the country. I wouldn't call that "lying on purpose to protect the investigation." I think SBCSO knew very early on that EC was deceased and that CL murdered her. I'm sure that's one of the reasons Alaska News stations were told to keep quiet too. LE didn't want to compromise this investigation anymore than it had already been. It seems to me that SBCSO has been right on top of everything from the very beginning. But you still seem to disapprove of the way they handled it?? I don't understand

A simple "Thanks" is not enough. As I posted yesterday I am so damn proud of the SBSO and even more proud to say I live here in this county. I think other departments can look to SBSO on how to properly carry out a murder investigation under the most dire of circumstances. If anyone has ever been to this desert area one would truly understand the phrase a needle in a haystack. It truly is amazing Erin was found.

Erin Corwin loved horses and adopted a horse in need of care at the White Rock Horse Rescue Ranch. The owner, employees and frequent visitors of the ranch were shocked and saddened to hear the news that Corwin's body was found and that Christopher Brandon Lee who lived on the ranch with his wife three weeks prior to leaving to Alaska, was arrested as a suspect in her murder.

Yes, of course Erin lied to Jonathan but she didn't murder him, what we were talking about was how CL had to have lied to her to gain her trust and belief that they had a future or she wouldn't have been with him, out celebrating a pregnancy that it's obvious now he was NOT happy about.
