I never heard of this case. St. James park is not a big area but it is located downtown. The park has a weird history (was the scene of a lynching in the 1930's) and today is a place where homeless hang out. I can't speak for the 1970's but in the 80's there were a lot of drug addicts in the park.

I submitted her case to the DoeNetwork. Glad to see they added it. The photos are from an Ancestry family tree. I wasn't able to find anything more recent.

She was divorced from Ralph Struthers in 1966 (who remarried in 1968). This is from his obituary details at Ralph Charles Struthers (1933-2019) - Find a.... There were 7 children of the marriage (all girls!) so dna should be easily available. One of her daughters was posting on social media 3 years ago asking for information.
