Newspapers.com is free over the weekend, but from some quick looking around I couldn't find any old news articles on this case. Maybe someone else can. Newspapers.com sure is a informative site though obviously not everyone is subscribed to it. I'm not so I've been busy reading old newspaper articles since it's free for a few days. Just thought I'd mention it if anyone wants to try researching this or other cold cases more. Often, people do and then post the articles on here and they really shed valuable light on older cases.

Bumping case up one one more time. Fairy would now be in her 50's and the kids in their 30's.

I guess this is Grandma? Certainly didn't predict another person named Fairy Elaine Olmstead.

I read somewhere else that the mother and her mother have the same name.

Another interesting thing I read is that she had 3 children. The youngest was a little girl (fathers last name is reportedly Maciorski) that she gave birth to just 4 months before Fairy and her two oldest children went missing. Not sure if the youngest grew up with her father.
