BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/FOX58) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for help finding an at-risk missing 16-year-old girl out of east Bakersfield.

Police said Faith Makayla Turner was last seen on December 27th in the 1600 block of East Truxtun Avenue near Sumner Street. She is considered at risk due to having no prior history of running away.

Turner is described as Black, 5'1" tall, 100 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information regarding Turner’s whereabouts is asked to call the Bakersfield Police Department at (661) 327-7111.

Hoping this teen is in a safe place. The last sighting of her is in an essentially commercial area of town.
Did she buy a bus or train ticket to see a friend or to just get outta town?
Did she catch a ride with someone who harmed her?
Her pic makes her appear older than she is, IMO, and this could be dangerous if she found "contacts" online. She's only 16 and she possibly could be duped into taking a "good job with good pay."
Very worrisome for this young teen.
