Also @mark1969 please can you let us know:-

(a) average daily contact Yama had with Ms Lin and/or close friend (ie once a day, twice a day or maybe every other day) and

(b) longest period of time (since departing) she went without having contact with the closest people to her ? Therefore...would, say, 3 whole days (or even 48 hrs) be unusual for this trip ? (that's without ANY communicating at all, uploading pics, vids, SM comments too) ??

dank u :)
Max time of no contact or social media was less than 30 hours

As time goes on it seems more likely they got into some sort of accident but where is the car? IMO.
Anyone at Toyota can just open the tracersoftware of the inbuild gps tracker of the blue 2016 Toyota Tacoma to see it's last location .... but then it would be too easy or not ?

some one said previously that if JRF had not outright purchased the truck, that is, still owed $ on it, the financing company would be looking for it... to repo (repossess) it... of course even if he owed money, if the bills are on autopay, maybe nothing due.

Someone is updating his LinkedIn…it used to have his full name on it didn’t it? Now it says John F
Also his security firm was the top listing with end date of March 2023. Now it says career break.
Was this changed or is there a 3rd LD I’m missing?

@mark1969 - another suggestion would be to interview JRF’s business associate back in Virginia. I am sure your PI has the info.

Hi, so just off the top of my head I remember recent posts about there being 2 Linkedin accounts attributed to JRF - one thorough with NS background and one more sparse (I think)

I recall ClaireNC commenting on this and I always regard her info as being correct!

I read that it’s usually the dealerships that install the security trackers and they are not installed at the factories. That‘s why I suggested to ask the PI to check with the dealership (Paradise Chevrolet in Ventura) where he purchased the truck back in April to determine if a security tracker was indeed installed.

I had found the sparse LI, and others chalked it up to JRF having two accounts. Or maybe he started with this one and then abandoned it for the “John F.“ account.
[Snipped for brevity]

I am more inclined to believe this is the true LI profile of JRF: https://www.linkedin.com/in/john-fitzpatrick-1693ba198/

Maybe he has 2 profiles, but my gut feeling is that JRF is not very active on SM.

IMO

I’ve been watching his LinkedIn pretty closely. Nothing has been changed/updated. The profile name was always John F, though the account is registered with his full name. (Johnfitzpatrick220).

Where did the info that he purchased the truck in April come from?

Someone has to get a warrant. Law enforcement can’t just grab records from citizens. They are considered voluntarily missing, which is not a crime. And no, not just anyone at Toyota can find Toyota owners and their whereabouts. That would be unethical and likely illegal.

That’s why it’s imperative that someone convince SBCSO to reclassify this case.

Do you think we really have to let the daugthers of Fang Jin fly over to the States to try to convince SBCSO to reclassify the case and let the FBI urge the search ? Or can it also be done mandatorry by distance by these young girls ?

Another option is to have Fang Jin's U.S. friends contact representatives in Congress from the districts in California where Fang Jin disappeard and find a Congressmember or his/her staff who is sympathetic to the situation and wants to follow up on it.

Also, have U.S. friends contact state representatives from the legislative district(s) where she disappeared and was last heard from.

Someone - whether a journalist, a legislator (Congressmember of State legislator), or other - has got to take an interest in this case and move it forward.

<modsnip - off topic>

Hopefully your PI is experienced in missing person cases, and can give you good advice.
