Any updates? Also Is Robert Allen McDowell ruled out? His surname is very common in NC.

I’m sure there must be rule outs but none are publicly listed in NamUs.

No news so far and he had really high matches in Gedmatch!

I now see that someone previously posted about DDP working on this - been a while since I've been on here!

I now see that someone previously posted about DDP working on this - been a while since I've been on here!

Maybe they are waiting for confirmation of the DNA match with a relative? His profile on the DDP website was last updated in July 2025. He also had a very high match on GEDmatch, and his ancestry all comes from one state — North Carolina (it was announced by the DDP when they started to build his family tree).
