Video from Sky5 later confirmed that a commercial building had been hit, with a large hole in the building’s roof and no sign of any visible plane wreckage. Firefighters were seen battling a blaze from inside the warehouse.

The Fullerton Police Department confirmed that the plane went down in the area and that evacuations were underway. As of 2:40 p.m., police said there were an unknown number of “casualties.”

FULLERTON, Calif. (KTLA) – One person died and at least 15 people were injured Thursday afternoon when a plane crashed into the roof of a Fullerton warehouse.

At 2:40 p.m., The Fullerton Police Department said there were an unknown number of “casualties.” An hour later, police confirmed that nine people were transported to local hospitals and six others were treated and released at the scene.

One person, likely the pilot, was reported deceased.
 
11 injured in small plane crash in Southern California

FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) — Eleven people were injured when a small plane crashed through the rooftop of a commercial building in Southern California on Thursday, police said.

It was not immediately known what type of plane it was or whether those injured were in the aircraft or on the ground, Wells said.

The plane crashed near the Fullerton Municipal Airport, a general aviation airport in Orange County that is about 6 miles (10 kilometers) from Disneyland. It has one runway and one heliport.
Hoping this was a very unfortunate and tragic accident and not anything intentional.

Classmates mourn Huntington Beach soccer player killed in Fullerton plane crash​

A 16-year-old high school soccer player and her father were identified by classmates and coaches Friday as the two people killed when a small plane crashed into the roof of a business in Fullerton.

Huntington Beach High School junior soccer player Kelly Reid and her father, Pascal Reid, were identified by the team Friday in a post that described Kelly as "genuine and kind" with a "passion for life."
