Gabriele’s dialect indicates a slight German accent

On 09/28/78, Gabriele Uralli went missing from her home on Walker Avenue after an argument with her husband, never to be heard from again. CHP recovered Gabriele’s vehicle (a brown 1960’s Chevy station wagon) near the Golden Gate Bridge on 09/30/78, with her purse, wallet and ID in the vehicle. Most of Gabriele’s family lives in Germany.

Gabriele U Hollube married to A.B. Uralli in San Francisco.

Gabriele H and A.R. Uralli divorced Sept 5 1980.

I am assuming AR and AB are one in the same.

TY Coffee56, Yes I do believe their one in the same. There are a few addresses as well one was a Behavioral Medical Dept. The dates were after her disapperance, unsure how accurate the addresses are and the likelyhood their were 2 people named the same in CA. Its possible however believe the name is rather unique.

Her husband remarried in 1980 he was killed in an auto accident in 2010.

Kind of wonder if Gabriele left on her own accord

Gabrielle seems to have been a bit impulsive. In 1975 she married a John Winneberger in March, divorced him in June and married Ali Uralli in August. That is some change of mind. Whether this says anything about her general behaviour or shines light on what may have happened - who knows?

I am also a bit confused about Ali Uralli. Ancestry has his divorce from Gabrielle happening in September 1980........but also shows him remarrying to Janet Kooler in April that year! I suppose it may be errors in the records but it seems odd.

TY alb1on, all of this info is very interesting and strange ... see the 1st marriage was in Las Vegas maybe it was one of those impulsive marriages .. what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

Hollube in the US have only found a few and nothing as of yet on any connection to a Gabriele. There is a Carin that married and divorced aWinneberger in the late 60`s. There are a few variations of the name tried a few of those ..still no Gabriele. Her ID was found in the car so LE should have a photo to post with her MP report.

All thou its assumed she may have jumped from the Golden Gate bridge, there is always the possibilty she did not ...

In a case like this, there are any number of possibilities.

However, two strong ones should be considered in light of her car being found, along with her personal belongings so far from home.

First is that she may have encountered someone (a hitchhiker possibly) who murdered her and left her car near the Golden Gate bridge.

Second is that she may have been murdered by someone closer to her home and the car dumped where it was to misdirect investigators.

It is very odd that no photo of Gabriele exists. Didn't one of her husbands have any pictures to show investigators? Did any of her family have a photo of her?
