Noticed yesterday that Gavin is on Nancy Grace's "On The Radar" page.

Oh really. I can't stand to watch her because of the way she constantly interrupts her experts and such and is so rude to them verbally, but has she done a show on Gavin?

I don't watch her show (I've seen a few snippets), although I appreciate her advocating for the missing, but I don't think she has. :waitasec: I actually was googling about another case that popped up on her page and saw Gavin there.

Just glad some are still keeping his face & story out there!

I've been wondering if LE still has the Creech SUV, and if any forensic testing has come back on it and/or from the home. It'd be interesting to see what the emails said, what's on the computer, the cell records, etc.

Maybe she will do a show, if she's got an eye on it...?

It really is strange that so little information has come from the police. Usually in high profile cases, there are police leaks at every turn. I guess the press just hasn't pressed the cops for more information, or the police involved are really good at keeping their mouths shut for a change.

I want to know what is on the computers too. All the computers, even in Gavin's house and work. Who was he talking to, what were his plans?

Unless this case breaks wide open, I am afraid we may never know. It seems like that is starting to be the trend. There are so many cases out there that have not been solved.

I really hope the cops have a lot more information and evidence that they are holding close to the vest right now.

I would hope that a reputable auto salvage yard would follow the proper procedures-like checking the VIN number and license plate on the car and having the title to the vehicle-before accepting a vehicle. I also hope the cops have checked all these yards for Gavin's car.

When my son was in college he and a friend used to buy old clunkers and then part them out and sell the rest of the 'carcass' to junkyards. And even the dumpiest of the lot required the proper paperwork from them.

So I hope it could not have been just dumped in a salvage yard. Especially because it was in good condition. I wonder if it was shipped secretly overseas or into Mexico?

LOL I have often wondered if the car is in Mexico too, and Gavin's with it.

Authorities have said they strongly suspect foul play over what happened to the former UCLA basketball player.

A detective told Fox News that the home of John and Chandrika Creech was searched in connection with Mr Smith's disappearance.

John Creech, a drug dealer, was being held by police for an unrelated matter but the couple had not been entirely ruled out.

Was googling for Gavin news and found this piece. Article has some errors. Skimmed it when it came out earlier this week, but above portion jumped out at me this time.

Thanks! With that info, I just looked over Nancy's transcripts from the date of his disappearance to today, and didn't find that episode. Any idea of the date? A transcript could be handy.

I remember it because they showed the photo of the family that others have shown -- it looked like a family vacation photo -- and the photo of Gavin that looks like a driver's license photo. I believe they also showed a photo of the car -- not the exact car; rather, a photo of a similar make/model/color. The voice over started off with something like, "Sexy movie exec" or "Gorgeous movie exec," or something typically NG.

I swear I'm not crazy! (Well, not about this, anyway. )

Have been wracking my brain about this. No sign of it on the NG site or via Google search. I don't watch JVM or Dr. Drew, nor the morning news shows, Inside Edition, etc. Don't recall seeing a Dateline or 48 Hours about it. I swear it was on NG. Sorry.

No sorry needed! Thanks for all your work! It looks like sometimes she briefly mentions different cases, so it's probably just buried in a transcript somewhere.

Creech's sentencing in the drug case has been rescheduled for Aug. 29.

I hope so. John and Chandrika's connection with Gavin has been our only link with any news on Gavin. If this turns out to be a simple drug sentencing, i wonder if we ever hear anything else again about him.

I wish someone from here could be in that courtroom.

Since it seems as if we will be waiting at least a month for news, I thought I would share, mainly for those not from the area.

I was just driving around that area 3 weeks ago. Of course it is a cold enough case that I didn't see any missing posters, see any news articles, etc. I did ask a number of people if they had heard of Gavin and about half had.
Sylmar is a pretty good size area and besides developed areas, there is the freeway, hills, canyons, etc.
