Mieger's family reported that George was spotted at around 6:30 a.m. on Sunday at the intersection of Oak Creek Bridge and Oak Run Road.

I found several George Meigers in the Shasta County Court system. Some with no middle name, and two George Raymond Meigers, one junior and one senior. However the records do NOT contain a date of birth so these two may be someone with just the same name. Putting it out there to see if it helps find any information that might assist in locating the missing George. His husband is very worried, due to the missing man's medical status (previous stroke). Mieger was ultimately discovered by his adult son at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 22nd, lying in the tall grass along the side of Oak Run Road. Just under a mile from where he was last caught on camera.
